I don't know what happened but my most recent visit was not the traditional high standard, as in years past. I showed up 15 minutes early, at 3:30 for my 3:45 appointment, per my reminder text. I was invoiced my co-pay quickly, then asked to move to the waiting area. Along with a dozen other patients, we sat for over an hour. My appointment began at 5:10. After changing into their "shorts" and completing my radiographs, the MD came in at 5:20 to discuss my rads and was gone in 10 minutes. I understand a "short visit". There wasn't much to say at this annual. It's the wait time that was aggravating, especially when there was not a single apology nor even a lie like "he had an emergency". Maybe my next annual will be better.

Dr. John Lyon I thank you so very much. The arthroscopic surgery on my left knee to repair the torn meniscus was a complete success. I highly recommend this doctor. I was improperly diagnosed by a doctor at Illinois Bone and Joint Institute 2 1/2 years ago. From the very first visit it was apparent that you were concerned to give a very thorough evaluation.

I have seen three different doctors at this office for knee injections through the years and they are all terrific. My knee surgeries, however, were done by Dr. John Lyon who is just excellent. I highly recommend him! He was never rushed and I had plenty of time to ask any questions about the surgeries both of which were done in 2014 and I've had no problems since. He did an outstanding job and I would not hesitate to see him again if needed. His assistant, Janet, is also tops! This office in Fox River Grove near Good Shepherd Hospital is the most efficient, pleasant, and well-run medical office I have ever encountered. He also has an office by Lutheran General where he is also on staff but I have never been there.

Dr. Mo is the best hand surgeon. She is really nice andi will recommend her. All the staff here are amazing.
