“Today my family and I went to the Round Lake location to upgrade our iPhones. We were greeted by two incredibly kind and welcoming employees: Bryan and Julian. They were very quick to help us get our upgrades, as well as incredibly willing to answer any questions we had and were overall super helpful and friendly. When there was downtime due to transfers or software needing to be updated, both Bryan and Julian took the time to ask questions about us and were so enthusiastic during the entire process. This is by far the best experience we’ve had when getting new phones and we will 100% be back!”

He helped the Combined Veterans of McHenry out last year and donated one day Phone service for the Sailors Thanksgiving hosted by the VFW. You put a lot of smiles on Sailors faces that day.”

“This Antioch location is huge. It's worth driving that extra distance for, definitely. Shelves are kept well organized. Compared to some other Walmart stores their aisles are wider and cleaner which makes it easier to walk around and fill up that oversized shopping cart.”
“I recently submitted an insurance claim and when I received my replacement phone, I needed assistance getting it setup. Danny explained I needed to call customer service myself or I would need to pay a connection fee. The person I was talking to via customer service was extremely confused thinking I was adding a line not transferring my service. Thankfully Danny was able to help get it sorted out and my phone was properly connected! Thank you Danny for going above and beyond to provide excellent customer service! Much appreciated!!!”
“Friendly and knowledgeable staff. My go-to store for the past several years. They never try to upsell you anything more than what you need. Infact they even offer savings tips if something is cheaper (like directing to neaby Costco T-mobile center if something is cheaper there)”
“This is the 2nd time that Karen goes above and beyond on helping me my wife and my daughter. Karen is very professional , knowledgeable , and able to assist all costumers that come in through that door. She greets all and is able to help all. Karen makes sure costumers don’t walk out the door without being waited on. I did retail quite some years ago and am costumer orientated. And know how important it is to make sure the walk out of the shop happy so they can come back and shop at the same store. You can tell when people really want to help and love their job. This employee Karen goes above and beyond. Keep up the good job.”

“I was having the worst time setting up my new device. Extremely irritating how these devices need to be set up. I was so over trying to speak to someone over the phone I went into the Verizon Mchenry location was greeted right away and he definitely seen my frustration. He got my phone all set up within 10 mins I was out of there. Really wished I remembered his name I think it was James but unsure. Anyways whoever this lovey man is deserves some praise. I was ready to completely switch phone services because of this. But because this man was so great I have decided to keep paying the ridiculous price we pay to be sure we continue to receive this type of service.”

“Bill and his sons did an excellent install of my sound system for my boat last year (2024). 8 speakers, 1 sub, 1 amp, 1 in-cabinet stereo w/ 2 head units. As well as a gps chart plotter. This year I had a technical issue with my gps chart plotter not showing a depth reading or sonar image. Bill worked tirelessly to rectify this including multiple calls with Garmin tech support. In the end, Garmin sent a new unit (under warranty) and rectified the problem. This likely cost Bill and Audiosmith many hours and loss of revenue, but most importantly it shows the support and dedication he gives his customers. A+++. - Thank you again Audiosmith!”
