Just about every person that works here is stressed out and rude. As a nurse, I am not giving you a pass for short staffed or whatever. I get that people are rude, I get that insurance is a PIA. But I also get that medications for many folks including myself is life-saving. And part of YOUR job is to contact my physician for a refill. Every single time they say they will, I have to actually call my MD myself and have it sent because otherwise-it doesn't happen. Tired of chasing down my meds when the pharmacy OFFERS to do this for us. Don't make it a service you offer then because clearly, your system sucks.
I have had more than one prescription delayed as a result of waiting and trusting the pharmacy to the point where they have to 'float' me pills so I don't miss doses that could be really problematic if I miss them. Then they didn't even have the med and I had to wait until it came in the delivery. I was told "You can call other pharmacies and see if they have it. " I CAN CALL??! Why aren't YOU calling to see if they have it?? I don't have that kind of time and it shouldn't be this hard.
I am tired of starting out being nice to the techs and end up being rude myself and almost arguing with them because they really come across as 'oh well' and not caring about their customers. I feel gaslit every time I have interacted with them. I only came to this Fox Lake pharm because its close to where I was living. Meijer pharmacy in Round Lake is fantastic, but I moved from that area. Mail order is looking really good now.

I hate hearing this most used phrase these days “We are short staffed”. No line, no customers, 3 people inside the pharmacy. And I got this phrase again. Lazy people is all I want to state.

Never had any problems. Pharmacists and staff have always been good. No complaints! Happy with the service I receive.

Catastrophic pharmacy- spent entire day with no staff or pharmacist answering the phone- Contacted store manager and still no results-They are out of simple antibiotic ear drops so I had to go to Walgreens Wauconda, who has it.But again their pharmacist is unable to reach Osco pharmacist, because they told me they are understaffed.Good Luck with flu vaccines, any vaccines, fall and winter cold season.They are so understaffed and overwhelmed, nothing functions.I'm calling the manager of the store, they keep connecting me to the pharmacy.My entire Day Off- Friday spent trying to have my prescription sent over to Walgreens across the street!Good luck with upcoming holidays coming understaffed- all the out of town travelers coming- sick people, they are not capable of supporting this large flow of customers!Never again, Jewel in Wauconda!

Osco pharmacy is accurate, prompt, and reasonable. Staff are friendly and quick to help. Explanations are understandable. Osco pharmacy Fox Lake is a good place.

If I could leave a negative 01 i would. One of the associates was no customer service. She told a couple of the customers in a rude way to get away.

Many thanks to Kelly the pharmacist at Fox Lake Osco. Not only the day before Easter but a Saturday and she took the time to help once again. We have new insurance and it wasn’t going through, who has hundreds of dollars for important medicine. Kelly was able to transfer us over even though we didn’t have our new cards yet just an introduction letter. I’ve known her for years and she always pleasant and goes the extra mile. Happy Easter Kelly! Wish the grocery industry would realize their employees have families also and at least cut the hours or split them up so everyone can enjoy these special times. Make sure and say hello to Kelly next time your at Osco Pharmacy.

Drive thru sit for 1/2 hr in line . .. actually going on more. unbelievable. Very hard to understand what the problem is here. Everywhere else that I have been to is not like this.

I've never really had a problem with the grocery store itself. it's the Pharmacy I've had problems with. Example: just called for a refill on medication, they said my Psychiatrist never sent my meds there. it was an older sounding lady on the phone (no name given), she was rude and had an attitude. called the Wauconda location and it WAS on file and the Fox Lake location was refusing to fill it! they also tried to con me into getting the name brand. When I called my insurance, they said they do cover non-name brands too. so the Fox Lake osco tried to con me out of more money. The osco pharmacy at Fox Lake is a total dumpster fire and needs new managers! I feel bad for the kind employees that work at the pharmacy. The managers and that rude lady on the phone need to get fired! I'd give it 2.5/5 ONLY because there are kind employees in the pharmacy. I may be Autistic and ADHD but I'm not stupid!

The worst jewel ever. Wouldn’t sell us alcohol because someone had a vertical ID that we’ve used at plenty of other places before including other jewel oscos. Don’t come here.

Once again Kelly (Tech) came through! We had a change in our insurance and hadn’t received the card yet. Kelly took the time to find out the details and apply the new insurance. Saved us money again. Been coming here for years, can be busy but people do care. Thanks Kelly!!!!

I am new to Jewel-Osco Pharmacy as of 1/1/2022. However, I could not be more satisfied with the 3-4 times I have been to the Pharmacy. The pharmacist and staff have been outstanding. Both professionally and personally. Looking forward to using them for all my pharmacy needs.
