“Given the 5-star review, it is obvious they treated my expensive Restoration Hardware furniture with care. What I found above and beyond compared with other moving companies, since I have moved about six times, is that they wrapped every piece of furniture in plastic, then wrapped it in moving blankets, and then taped all of it as if it was being shipped. Some more delicate items had an additional layer of cardboard. Yes, plastic, blanket, cardboard, and tape. It took them 3 hours to complete the entire move. A good friend of mine hired 606 Movers about three years ago, and I helped her. Back then, I was impressed with the excellent care and service they provided. Thus, I hired them for my move this time, and I experienced the same level of professional services.”
“We used Roy to move our furniture and household items from Highland Park, IL to Charleston, SC based on the recommendation of our daughter. She previously used Roy to move from Chicago to NYC. Roy offers the ability to have your items picked up and directly transported to your location without aggregating it with other shipments, thereby ensuring a specific delivery date. Our experience could not have been better. Roy met all of his commitments and it was not even necessary for us to be at the destination location as we provided him a key to our unit. It was a real pleasure working with Roy and would highly recommend him to others as he is a cut above other movers.”

“We used New City to move our belongings out of U-Haul Boxes we had shipped to a U-Haul facility (from across the country), and into our condo in downtown Chicago.
Overall experience was great, the team of three showed up on time, and were super careful with handling our stuff and moving everything. We also called on relatively short notice (2ish days in advance) and New City was able to accommodate the timeline.

He was receptive to my instructions over the phone as he was driving the truck, and arrived to the appointment on time. They moved out the items quickly and the entire process took about 10 minutes. Pam was also great on the phone helping me coordinate the pickup within an hour of me placing the request, so I recommend Hodge Podge for anyone who needs to have furniture moved out as I had a great experience.”

“I’m an independent contractor and I was in search for a contract through Tag. I was dealing with a recruiter name, Maria. Who honestly wasn’t quite helpful and had giving me a lot of misleading information. I later find out that they let her go and she was no longer working for the company. Good on there part. But what really made the experience great was when I was assigned my new recruiter named Robbie. This guy literally apologized on her behalf of the misleading information that I received, and he went above and beyond his job expectation in order to help me. He provided information that was extremely important and valuable for me to know in regards on partnering with the company. He is a great asset for the company as a recruiter and I want the company to know that. Great company as well.

“I’m rating them 5 stars because I can’t give a higher rating! The experience was fabulous and easy for me all the way through. Bridget did a great job of packing everything up for me as well as taking extra care of family heirlooms while packing them up. The move from the house to the condo was well organized and went smoothly. Since I was downsizing, the movers checked with me many times on items that I was choosing to leave behind just to make sure nothing was forgotten. Upon arrival at the condo they got everything exactly where I wanted it and did some adjustments with that when I wanted a chair or piece of furniture moved elsewhere. Everything was done professionally and courteously. Bridget also helped do the unpacking upon arrival and did a great job of arranging the kitchen for me.
But wait…there’s more! The crew returned the next day to the house to remove everything that I had no longer needed…including an old (& super heavy) piano. Once again all done professionally and courteously.
It is without hesitation that I recommend Marion and Moving Day Ready! The pricing is great when considering all the work they did!”
“Fabulous experience working with Mauro and his team. They were right on time and kept a positive attitude through what was a grueling day with many stops. Started at 8am and didnt stop moving heavy furniture until 6pm yet maintained a smile the whole time. They were careful not to damage anything and even took apart and reconstructed a treadmill to make it fit in a tight stairwell. They were also about $900 cheaper than the next lowest quote I received. Absolutely highly recommend”
