They had a small selection, but I was told more would be in soon. The chocolate I got was not great quality, you can't skimp and use cheap chocolate and expect a good product in the end. Also the toffee were soft, not crunchy which was odd.

Went to get dark chocolate cremes for a friend that has been getting chocolates from here for decades. Her parents were faithful customers. We'll, it still didn't disappoint, two weeks later she is still thanking me for the chocolates.

It's our anniversary tomorrow. I already bought a bouquet of flowers and also booked a reservation in a high class restaurant. Aside from that I would like to buy my wife a chocolate since she loves sweets. I asked my sister where I should buy a chocolate and she gave me this address. When I enter there are customers buying their chocolate. I bought 1 piece of every chocolate to try what's the best. Since I find it all very sweet and so yummy I bought 1 piece of every chocolate and they put it in a box. Truffles are one of the best that I taste so I ordered a box of it for take out. I will eat it while driving and of course while I'm working. I'm sure my wife will be so happy and surprised. I recommend this place to you.

I received a box of chocolates for the holiday gift. I enjoyed every kind of candies in the box!! I'll go to this place next time I buy gifts to my friends and colleagues.

What a hidden gem of a chocolate shop in the downtown Madison St of Forest Park. Easy to miss; it's connected to the Shanahan's bar next door. Their toffee is made in-house and packaged as 1/2 lb or lb and some of the best I've ever had. The caramels are wonderful too, and they have chocolate-covered pretzels, dark orange peels, and many more goodies. Will definitely be ordering more toffee as holiday gifts.

I'm guessing this was due to Covid, but their chocolate selection was in dire straits. They only had the almond bark and chocolate covered almonds in supply. Absolutely nothing else. I wanted to try out their truffles and salted caramel I was reading about, but none of it was in supply. Also it was weirdly attached to a bar, so the entrance was super confusing and took awhile for help to come when I saw that all of the chocolate boxes were empty.

When I was a kid in the 70's my parents would go to Jon Duras Chocolate in Cicero on Cermack Road.They had the best French Creams I have ever had , untill today when I received my box of French Creams from La Madison de Bonbon. Highly recommend them. *****

This is where you want to go to get a chocolate Christmas gift for your people. Tiny shop front. All chocolates made on site. Been around for a long time. Love it! A good way to support local shops.

If you buy a box of chocolate at the grocery store and eat it you might think it's good. Then go buy some chocolate at Maison de Bonbon and you'll notice a BIG difference. Fresh, creamy, and totally superior to that other stuff. Very nice people and great service.

La Maison de Bonbon is a cool little place. It has a good selection of hard to find candy that you can't find at most stores.
