Very busy place but they always make time for you. Love getting the spa pedicure so relaxing and the chip manicure is well done lasts a long time. Very good atmosphere, so far very satisfied.

Jimmy and Jenni do a wonderful job. I'm not sure if some of the other reviewers are maybe looking for a drive thru experience, but a good manicure and pedicure should take time. They not only do a great job, but also assess and advise the health of your feet.

Glad they could fit me in last minute for a pedicure and no-cup manicure but I'm not coming back. Not good sanitation practices. The towels seemed to be hand washed, hung dry and not properly clean, the tools weren't pulled out brand new for clients, their polishes were old and some clumpy, not much color selection and bad paint job. The no-chip polish was applied poorly and was on the skin around my nail beds, the polish wasn't smooth after applied, he tried fixing it but barely made any difference. The glitter overlay was not what I chose. My toe nails were trimmed super short and still had some skin left around the nail beds that should've been removed. I think they need to improve sanitation, properly wash their towels, pedicure bowls, work area, etc. Another tech worked on my friend and called her nails ugly and was complaining the whole time. I went to the bathroom and saw two mouse traps out in the open with several random glasses filled with disinfectant and tools. Didn't seem the proper setup and don't think their salon meets required standards.

I absolutely LOVE this place!!! I have been going here faithfully for a year and it is by far the best nail salon I have found in this area. Jenny takes her time to make sure my nails are perfect. I arrive with ugly feet and leave with gorgeous feet consistently. Making an appointment is the way to go especially in the mornings. Keep in mind Jenny will get very upset if you no-call and no-show...and I don't blame her. This woman is passionate about her profession. Jimmy is a nail doctor. He specializes in promoting healthy natural nails. I highly recommend this business!

Jenny and Jimmy are the newer owners and they were wonderful!!! Very accommodating to our schedules (boyfriend and me); they both took the time to help our feet! We have been they many times and the service is always consistent!! Give them a try!

I love this salon! Jimmy focuses on the health of the nails, and Jenny does a stellar job with my pedicures and polish. I love the fact that I can make an appointment. And if I just pop in, they will tell me if they have availability or not. No more endless waiting.

I was in the area at around 2 on a Wednesday. I have heard good things about this place so decided to try it. The door was lock and when the lady opened it she asked if I had an appointment. I said no. She continued with they had a 2:00 appointment and could not get me in. The salon was completely emptied. She told me to make an appointment next time. I said I'm good and left.

Bad experience with no chip manicure that left my nails super short with two different types of glitter polish that look nothing like the display glitter I chose. Definitely won't be going back. Really uneven finish and disappointing to pay $30

My sister and I called a few days before to make an appointment for 2 manis & pedis. The morning of the appointment we had car troubles so I called to let them know we would be running late and would need to push back our appointment. I believe the owners are a couple and the man I spoke to told me that would be alright and to come in later at a certain time which we did. When we got there the woman (part owner and wife of the man I spoke to) started yelling at us... YELLING AT US when we walked through the door. She told us we were late for our appointment and was complaining about how when you make an appointment you need to be on time. Both me and her husband kept on explaining how I had called in advance to let them know we were running late. But she still spent the first half of my appointment lecturing me like we weren't paying customers. And I haven't even mentioned that the salon was EMPTY! As more people came in they would stop working on one of us to do someone else's nails. We were there for over an hour and half and they finished my nails but eventually my sister said we had to go and they never finished her nails. The whole time we were there only the 2 owners were working in the salon which apparently is the norm (so do not go there with a group). The man was friendly but it did not make up for his rude wife. Disregarding the horrible service the quality of work was unsatisfactory. I got no chip and left with polish all over my fingers/ cuticles. It was our first time there and we won't be back. If you're reading this review I hope we save you a trip from going at all. I ended up paying $65 to get a shitty mani/ pedi and to be verbally abused. I can think of much better ways to spend my money.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. But the no chip manicure I got was definitely not the best. The color was applied unevenly and splotchy. I have short nails but the top coat got on my finger tip and I had to pull it off. You can also see the layers of the different colors and there are large clumps on a few nails. We're the color didn't get on my skin there were strips where my nail wasn't even painted. Not worth $30 that's for sure. But the place was clean and the staff was friendly.

Recently moved to the area and visited J&J nails and spa for a pedicure. Both Jimmy and Jenny spent a great deal of time with me making sure I had a great experience and beautiful pedicure. Jimmy is very knowledgeable about nail health and happy to help you get the results you are looking for. Highly recommend.

I came here for the first time with my cousin two weeks ago. We didn't schedule an appointment because we had just come from our usual nail place that was understaffed at the time. We walked up to the door and it was locked, but we could see a man inside. He opened the door and we asked if he was open. He replied with a yes and we proceeded to ask him if we could both get mani-pedis. He was a bit hesitant but still very friendly. He told us to pick out colors and to get seated for the pedicures. My cousin then asked how much they would charge for acrylics for the future. The next thing we know an older woman comes out saying, "No acrylics." We were a bit confused as many nail salons offer acrylics. She kept saying the same thing over and over again each time getting more pissed and pissed. I immediately tried to soften her tone by saying, "We were just asking, we were curious for future reference." She then replied, "I know you just asking, but no acrylics! No acrylics!" I was so confused as to why she was being so defensive. The whole time the guy was trying to make nice conversation. He definitely tried to make us happy by being friendly. Unfortunately, it could not make up for the horrible experience we had. The guy worked on my cousin, while the meaner woman worked on me. There would be moments where the woman would be nice and make conversation, but there were many times where her rude tone was very irritating. For example, I mentioned that our usual nail salon was unable to accommodate us. Well, that place is Saigon Nails on Harlem right across from the Bed Bath and Beyond. At one point, the woman totally started talking trash about them, saying they were sloppy and not careful. I go to this salon for my nails and my eyebrows and I have never had a problem. She also kept bringing up the fact that we didn't make appointments. It was getting so old to hear her say the same old things over and over again. She just sounded like a broken record. The quality of her work on my feet was really good. The same went for my cousin. Then we proceeded to get out manicures. My cousin got a regular manicure and I chose the no-chip manicure. The guy worked on me this time and the woman on my cousin. The guy was starting to talk so much that it was getting him distracted from the work he was doing on my hands. He was cleaning the cuticle on my thumb when it started to hurt a lot, so i flinched and said ow. He then said, "You are okay. Nothing has happened." I brushed off the comment and tried to pay no attention to it, but it was burning. When I looked at it, it was bleeding. Once he noticed he immediately put some medicine on it. We then paid and left not happy with the service at all. The next week, my nails were already starting to chip. They were cracking and didn't look very good. Typically when I get my nails done at Saigon they last 3 weeks maybe more. During the 2nd week of having these nails, they started peeling while I was in the shower. I can definitely say I will never be coming back here.
