“I could spend hours here looking for good deals. Because the place is what it says on the box. Almost everything in this place seems like a great deal at just $5. We strolled through here looking for simple gifts, and it didn't disappoint. Not everything is in tip top shape; that's why you're getting a deal. For example, a bunch of the books have weird cover imperfections like they aren't cut in perfect rectangles :) But if you're looking for some fun books, and aren't judging a book by its cover (lol), you're going to dig what you find. My only qualm about this particular location is parking is nuts. We've actually been in this situation trying to go to the Chucky Cheese next door only to drive around and around and never find an actual parking space so we went home. So beware. I wouldn't show up hangry or frustrated by your drive. It's also difficult to find stuff in this place. You see a word like "Tech" or "iPhone" sign but there's iPhone accessories in multiple spots. I wish there was some kind of directory one could lookup things you need in here to see if they actually exist. Definitely a place we'd come back to for good deals on gifts.”

“wkn on a 76 triumph we had to rebuild engine and electrical from stem to stern, at the end we had a slight acceleration drop, all after market distributors made car run worse, no factory option available, after this company rebuilt original distributor and built it how we wanted, night and day performance - would recommend highly, fair price, quick service, quality work - thanks”
“I had gone to a dollar tree at the Archer and Ashland location, and it was so disorganized. Then I drove down to the Archer and Damen Dollar store wow it was very well organized. That location has a lot of foot traffic. Cashier was very nice and professional. Both locations have a large amount of foot traffic and staff were equally nice and very pleasant when I asked for specific items. Too bad they no longer have the glass bottles I was looking for.”

“This is a nice Five Below they have very clean store they have a large variety of items and things everything from socks to electronics to cups for work for toys posters and candy and much much more their prices are good I like the fact that the store is bigger than the other stores it's cleaner and it has their prices actually in the right spots everything is folded like clothes everything is laid out a certain way, and it actually has a customer bathroom that is available to us which island in love with that and it's a very good store.”

“The deals here are great. If you use Gain laundry products, they have a spinoff which smells just like it. I save a lot of $$ buying my household cleaning products, hair, bath and body products here and I'm talking about name brands. Clip coupons and DG coupons also and save even more! Their holiday & seasonal decorations are really cute and so inexpensive. towels, throw rugs, kitchen gadgets also. I could spend hours looking at all the goodies in there, I ❤️ DG”

“I have been in several Dollar Tree locations and this store is EXCELLENT. Staff is friendly and helpful! I have never encountered an issue. Today I called to see if an item I was looking for was in stock. The person told me that they were just receiving their shipment and would call me back to let me know if they got any. They kept their word and called back! Now this is EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I reached out to the Corporate Office to forward this compliment as well.”

“This is the best Dollar Tree I've ever been to in the city--including the far west side, south and north side. It's extremely well-kept, clean, stocked & organized. But most importantly it seems to be run by employees who are dedicated and very kind towards customers. They even have compassion for the migrant families outside of their store.”

“Since I happened to be in the Forest Park area, I visited this Dollar Tree solely to purchase Jimmy Dean's Cheddar Cheese Omelets which I have grown to love for breakfast in the morning. Along with the omelets, I figured why not purchase other things like water, shelf stable milk, toilet paper, body spray, body soap, white bread, peanut butter, and snacks while visiting. The atmosphere at this location feels so calm in comparison to other locations I visited. The one thing that makes me feel uneasy are the panhandlers that are typically out during the late evening hours. And I must say that with there being a lack of lighting available outside contributes to that uneasy feeling as well. Dollar Tree is becoming more like Dollar General with what products are being shelved. During this visit, I could not help but admire a $5 pair of Super Soft Leggings which are the perfect lounge around wear. I swear, I will have to stay clear of that aisle in the future because I nearly left with a camouflage pair of leggings. I have been buying large bottles of water from Dollar Tree for some time now. Dollar Tree has my preferred brands in stock like Alkaline, Aquafina, Dasani, Eternal, Life WTR, and now Body Armor Sport Water which keep me purchasing consistently. Their sizes alone are perfect for the pace I choose to drink water, so Dollar Tree is my go-to choice for purchasing. Shelf stable milk continues to be an item that keeps me visiting Dollar Tree locations for. Its lifespan, price, and carton size works for me in comparison to buying out of supermarket stores. I make it my sole priority to purchase toilet paper every time I visit Dollar Tree, since it is one of my most used essentials next to body soap. Even though I would have preferred tissue by Scott Comfort Plus, I had to settle for Strong and Soft since Scott Comfort Plus was not available. "Hint, hint ", Scott Comfort Plus is the better tissue brand in my opinion. This location does have a parking lot of its own, a small lot which can feel congested at times when there are a number of visitors. If you are like me and want to avoid the uneasy feeling of a congested parking lot, there is street parking in the immediate area. Whether it be for the purchase of breakfast foods, bottled water, shelf stable milk, toilet paper, or even hygiene products, Dollar Tree continues to be my go-to for those items.
