November 2023 by Andre A.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! bought a car in November 2022 and financed it with a high interest rate due to past credit issues that resulted from an extended illness a few years ago and forced me into bankruptcy. I was assured by the salesman and later by the finance person that I should be able to refinance it for a lower rate through GM Financial after a year of ontime payments which I have accomplished. I contacted GM Financial today only to be told that they do not offer refinancing directly through GM Financial. It's this type of deception by dealerships that send customers to online car vendors because going into many dealerships you are unsuspectedly being lied too so they can sell the car and get you out of the door and could care less about you or your circumstances. AVOID THIS PLACE!

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST EXPERIENCE BUYING A NEW VEHICLE! ! HANDS DOWN! Folks- Read This Before Buying From These Guys- Rated #1 because they tell you it's mandatory the customer "needs" to send them a "POSITIVE REVIEW" only so the salesman doesn't get docked $150 on their check after selling you a vehicle. They want you to feel bad folks! Well... I'm not that guy! I arrived on a Mon around 4:00pm to only "LOOK" at a vehicle. The first negative experience was when I went to test-drive the vehicle; it had 11miles left in the tank, DIRTY, BATTERY DEAD... SMH. 2nd TERRIBLE SIGHT- After arriving back, they had me sit down at the salesman's desk for over 20min by myself; like where'd the salesman go?! Once the salesman came back a manager (Mike Ramadan- short guy, bald head with black beard) called all salesman over the loudspeaker to have a meeting at the front desk; once again, my salesman had to leave me for another 20 min! I'm honestly trying to be patient with these people by this time, but my patience is running out. During this meeting at the front desk with all salesmen, Mike Ramadan (later find out his name) cursed out ALL SALESMEN right in front of all customers and lit one other individual up bad!!! I couldn't believe what I just witnessed! How unprofessional "MIKE"! Your xxx needs FIRED!!!! I can't believe no one walked off the job right then and there! Later that evening, after time well wasted in Valpo that night, I spoke to a few salesmen and asked them if they treat you guys like this all the time and they both said YES! Currie Ford.... there's a reason all your salesmen are under the age of 26 if I was to guess. No ADULT MALE over 40 would put up with your xxx! And I take xxx lightly! By the time I was able to leave that xxxx place it was 9:30pm!! These people "won't" let you walk out of there to even "think" about purchasing something that large! I bet I told them "10 times" I wanted to talk it over with the wife. They do not take "let me think about it" for an answer! By the end of the night, they tried so hard to have me drive this vehicle off the lot. They even said they'd bring it home for me. I didn't even have my trade-in with me nor the extra cash I was wanting to put down on a new vehicle, and still begging me to take this vehicle. I said, "why so pushy on me, what's wrong with this vehicle you must get rid of it so quick"? Their response was, "we've only sold a few vehicles today and need more sales by the end of the night, we didn't sell much today sir". No Joke! Like I give a xxxx. 2nd Day- After talking it over with the wife and even telling her what a fiasco last night was, I did more research, called around to other Ford dealerships, I could not find exactly what I wanted. Currie was the only Ford dealership that had that vehicle at the time. I had the nerve to stop by again the next day to see if we could make a deal. Mind you this was 3:00pm. Sat down with the salesman again, told him everything I needed to make the deal, checked with his boss and came to an agreement. Next, I had to fill out paperwork as usual, met with another gentleman to set up a service tech to switch over my bed liner and cover for Saturday when I arrive. No problem.. Let me remind you; I arrived at 3:00pm and I didn't leave till 9:30pm again! These people have nothing in order! Now I was furious by the time i got home at 11:30pm (my time) 3rd Day- Picking up the vehicle:Unbelievable! What a Joke this was! First, they called me AT LEAST 5 TIMES since Wednesday asking when I was picking up my vehicle after I made it clear. On phone call was at 10:00pm my time! Is this an acceptable time to call someone?!? Arrived to pick vehicle up, vehicle wasn't washed, cleaned out, stickers all over the vehicle, dirt all over running boards. This Mike Ramadan gave me the bill to have my bed liner and cover installed (which only took 1 hr). $450!! Didn'

This was the worst experience. Think of the typical "car salesman" reputation and you got it here. The guys were nice, however, once you get past that, it's obvious that they are out for the sale, no matter what. It's way too long of a story to put here but let's say it's been about 5 months and I am shopping other dealers to get rid of this car because I know it won't last as long as my other cars (at least 7 years each )Maybe buying a new car is different but if you are buying used, go somewhere else. If you do plan to buy used here, have a lawyer who specializes in auto fraud, etc on deck just in case.

Very dishonest. First they told me that they have multiple cars in lot that are the models I want. They are almost 2 hours drive away from my place and I texted and called them to confirm that they have the cars before I headed to Currie Motors. When I got there the sales guy told me that they just sold the car that I wanted. They tried to sell me other models and I told them that I am not interested. They they asked me to pay $500 deposit. I asked them if the price is finalized before I pay deposit and they told me that they only finalize the price when the car gets to the lot. However the deposit paperwork shows a price. I asked them if the price is the final and they said yes. Then I asked them why they charge me $4000 market adjustment that I have never heard. They said because there are no such cars on the market. The. They asked if $3000 is ok. I told them. I don't want to pay market adjustment. Then they said that there is no deal if I don't pay market adjustment. They also took back for the free ride home they promised for the inconvenience they caused me to travel two hours there to find out that they broke the promise that they didn't have the car.Stay away from this dealer

Parts customer service was great but the rule they have to not give you part numbers so they can make the sale is very dumb and never heard of in other dealers.

Update: I was able to fix the issue in less than 15 minutes. I purchased a gallon of DexCool 50/50 at OBrien Auto parts for $15.00, and bought this scanner on Amazon:amazon.com/gp/product/B0…for $30.00.Please don't fall for their scam.

The advisors are not even trained w the web site.No one to greet you. Just turned there backs ! Should of checked the reviews. Went in for simple oil change and the are charging over and above published fee. The gist of it seemed like I was bothering them. So I left. Keep away. Check the other reviews

Unacceptable. Saw bolts on the website. Made an appointment to get the vehicle ordered and then when I came in to order it, they denied service. Said that HQ was out of Bolts and the trim that I wanted was for fleets only.Called MANY other dealers, all of them said they had ones available .. IN STORE and the ones that DIDN'T had them EN-ROUTE THAT PEOPLE CAN RESERVE!!Bait-n-switch scheme .

0 stars. After agreeing to a price on a vehicle and running my credit, sales manager Larry decided to add an additional $2,500 to price agreed upon. So not only do they not negotiate in good faith they hurt my credit score. Would never recommend this dealership to my worst enemy.
