The price of surgery was hefty but that’s what you have to do with your pet babies. Take care of them at all costs literally”

The way he loves my dog, is amazing always trying to play with her to make it feel lighthearted. He can be busy but he’s amazing at his job. “Excellent veterinary clinic, advice, knowledge, and care. If you care about your furry family members, this is the place to take them. Just had my two new dogs spayed and neutered, both are healing nicely and the process went without a hitch. Only issue was that my boy wasn't a fan of finding out before the scheduled appointment that he only had 48 hours left to check his nuts. I told him, "hey buddy, you have 48 hours left." He kept the same expression for almost 5 minutes. 99% sure he completely understood me and was trying to process it. Thankfully both are healing up and healthy.”
“My boy, Knafa, has been at avenue animal hospital since he was a kitten 12 years ago. We’ve gone through many ups and downs with his health and it wasn’t until Dr Mottel came in and saved the day. He was able to diagnose his IBD immediately and get Knafa’s blood work looking good. Since moving away with my cats 2 years ago, the biggest thing they lost, especially my old man Knafa, was Dr Mottel as his vet. Nobody matches his love and care for animals. Dr Mottel, the cats and I miss you! You are an incredible vet.”

Besides the wait , everything went well. Place was pretty clean. Yet, the price for the visit and my sonn medication was about the lowest I seen before at a Vet.If your going to check this place. “Our vet, Dr. John Shudell is fabulous. Spends time with you, listens to any concerns or questions. He's easy to talk too. Answers everything completely. He worked for the humane society for years and has a wide range of experience with animals and their health issues. When applicable, he offers lower cost, practical solutions, rather than jumping straight to the expensive alternatives. Our dog had tartar on her teeth and he recommended an over the counter teeth cleasing gel to eliminate it, rather than jumping straight to dental cleaning surgery, which other vets in the past have done. It's easier on the dog and less expensive, to hopefully avoid the need for surgery. Always recommends what's best for your pet. His love for animals shows in his handling of your pets and their response to him. After our vet retired, we were so lucky to have found him. Would definitely recommend him for the best care for your pets. We've been going here since they opened and couldn't be happier.”

“I take both my dog and cat here as part of their wellness plan. They’ve also spayed both of my animals and the results were great health and problem free. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because it’s a hassle trying to get someone to pickup the phone there.”

The check list should include:-How early vaccinations has to be taken before boarding your pet?-Types of vaccinations needed.- What to bring?- Standard pricingAll employees should know this list or check with each other to make sure all information regarding boarding your pet is correct. “Riley was a Christmas present to my son. I took her here on Christmas Eve, and she was grommed. The pricing was great! This was my first time visiting this establishment, and it would not be my last she came out smelling so good and looking so pretty. Being a first-time pet owner, I had a lot of questions, and the vet was very knowledgeable and patient with me.”
“When I brought my dog in for an initial consultation, he was newly 100% blind due to diabetes. Dr Lindley’s expertise was evident in her exceptional assessment and treatment plan. If he did not have immediate cataract surgery, the blindness would be irreversible due to the condition of his eyes; even with the surgery, his blindness might not be restorable. He would receive next day surgery on both eyes with no lenses (not possible). Dr. Miller performed an outstanding surgery on our dog. About two weeks after the surgery, his vision was restored. Four months later, he is doing great. I cannot recommend Animal Eye Consultants highly enough. The expertise and professionalism of their staff along with the timeliness of this surgery saved our dog’s vision. Thank you!”
