Stopped here on a road trip for a bathroom/snack break. Nice big parking lot and plenty of snack options with clean bathrooms. Also has a family bathroom.

Last night my family and I ran out of gas about 100 yards short of the exit. It said we had 10 miles left in the tank.. we were stretching it because our 9 month old was sleeping (finally). Anyways I walked/ ran to this gas station and the security guard and other employees could not have been any nicer. They let me barrow a gas can to fill up and the security guard/police man gave me a ride back to my wonderful family just across the overpass. He followed us back to fill up more gas to make sure we were safe. And when we got back we were helped tremendously by everyone that was on shift that night... Phillips is lucky to have such considerate and helpful employees @ Girard illinois. Thank you so much

No pay at the pump. As a trucker this is very annoying. Had to walk in 3 times before the pumps even worked and a 4th time to pay and get my reciept. Waste of time
