“Last night my family and I ran out of gas about 100 yards short of the exit. It said we had 10 miles left in the tank.. we were stretching it because our 9 month old was sleeping (finally). Anyways I walked/ ran to this gas station and the security guard and other employees could not have been any nicer. They let me barrow a gas can to fill up and the security guard/police man gave me a ride back to my wonderful family just across the overpass. He followed us back to fill up more gas to make sure we were safe. And when we got back we were helped tremendously by everyone that was on shift that night... Phillips is lucky to have such considerate and helpful employees @ Girard illinois. Thank you so much”

“Good gas station! Had to stop and get gas in Farmersville last night, as my husband and I were driving our frequent route from Litchfield to Springfield and realized we really needed gas halfway through the trip because we forget to get some before we left Litchfield. We first stopped at JackFlask down the street and were both racially profiled, had a problem with the gas pump where the handle got stuck in the car and we were refused help from the employees, and we couldn’t contact them without entering the store as loud obnoxious ads were playing on the screen at the pump and none of the buttons would work. After 25 mins we finally got the handle out of the car and gas got all over me! Went in to clean up and the bathroom was nasty. We left without paying as none of the gas made it into the car, only onto me. We came here and got gas without any inconveniences or loud ads!! If you need gas and you’re in Farmersville, stop here at Shell rather than JackFlash!”

“Nice little stop. Lots of shopping, snacks, souvenirs, clean store, helpful and friendly staff. We didn't shower here, but the ladies room needed attention, and once staff was told, they rushed to attend to it.”
