Good in a pinch but I usually only go here late at night and need medicine. I HATE that they push their app and data tracking so hard. BUT they are open late and usually have what I need. This last time it was orajel.

The Walgreens in Fairview Heights is horrible. The customer service is poor and the wait time is ridiculous for drive-thru pickup. This needs to be fixed, nobody has time to sit and wait for meds for an hour or longer. Get with taking care of this problem Walgreens or it can be a serious problem for your pharmacy.

My daughter in law’s prescriptions were sent to this Walgreens on Saturday. This morning at 11:20, they told her 2 more hours. At the 2 1/2 hour mark they told her 2 more. She has been waiting over 5 hours and she had to get mean for them to start on it. She is very shy and it takes a lot for her to say something. Unfortunately this is where my son’s insurance makes her go. Avoid Walgreens if you can!

Limited hours, poor service. Not the best pharmacy around. Just sucks to have to use them for insurance reasons.

This location sucks. Go to any other walgreens. The one in swanseas at 159 and Fullerton is 1000 times better. The service at this location is slow, horrible, and rude. The cashier had her airpods in and was obviously talking to a friend on the phone while checking people out. She was distracted and giggling the whole time and taking forever to ring people up. The service is so consistently bad. Every time I try this walgreens thinking last time was just a fluke, I get disappointed all over the again. The checkout lines are always a mile long and the employees have zero oversight or discipline or desire to be minimally helpful.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. Let me first start by saying that I have used this particular pharmacy for many, many years. I will say that the lack of service, courteousness, and respect for customers has declined TREMENDOUSLY.Last night I dropped a prescription off for my son. I was told that it wouldn't be ready until today. I was fine with that. But today, I never received notification that it was ready, so I checked the status through the app and realized that the order had been cancelled. I called the pharmacy to find out why and the first person I spoke with told me it was because there were no more refills on it. I told her that I had not ordered it as a refill but that I had delivered a paper rx off to them. She put me on hold to "check on it" but never came back to the phone.I hung up and called back. I spoke to someone else who put me on hold for only a few seconds. She came back to the phone only to tell me that it was cancelled because the Dr office put 2022 on it. Ok, understandable since it is the beginning of 2023. But, why didn't anyone notify me? I had been at home all day dealing with personal things and a simple phone call would have been great as I could have gotten a corrected one before the Dr office closed. I complained about the service and stated that I was done with them and was going to start using a different pharmacy. He response was simply, "Ok." She never apologized or gave any other response. I did ask that she pass it on my concerns and complaint to a manager. She told me she would tell the manager, but she didn't sound too convincing that she actually would so I asked if the manager was available. When I spoke with Kerry, the manager, she only said that the rx had been put into the "patient call drawer" but she couldn't tell me why no one called. I explained the hours of my son't Dr office and how my work hours don't coincide with those hours and to get it corrected would mean I would have to take time away from work. A simple phone call, when they realized the mistake, rather than throwing it in a drawer could have rectified everything. In a rude tone and total disregard to any inconvenience, she said there was nothing she could do.As a general manager myself, I understand there are sometimes things out of your control. Even if there is not much that can be done, at least offer a sincere apology and make sure that "call drawer" is done away with. Luckily I had not wasted gas and drove to that location.*** Two months ago, I ran into another situation. In the past, they were at least courteous enough to let people know when they didn't have enough to fill a rx completely or if they had did a partial fill. Now, they just fill whatever without saying anything. My son was on a new medicine his Dr wanted him to try. I picked it up and it was only 15 pills. My thought was that it was only because it was for him to try, as we had a follow up appointment in 2wks. But this was not the case. When he was nearing the end of the two weeks, I looked at the bottle to get information to request a refill. But when I looked at it, I realized it was a partial fill. I thought, no problem. I called the pharmacy to get the remaining and was told that it was too soon to refill. I had to tell them to look again and that it was not a refill but I needed the remaining pills of what they didn't fill the first time. (This has happened multiple times over that last couple of years).I have learned that although I have used them for a number of years and they used to be great, that things change and they have totally gone downhill. I will forever be taking my rxs, as well as those of my children somewhere else.

I was at the drive through window, and they literally closed down while I was waiting on them. They would not help me and sent me across town to wait 90 minutes for a prescription that was ready to go here.

Extremely slow drive through pharmacy…Waited 20 minutes and the techs didn’t seem very interested in helping….Swansea pharmacy is a ton better…..

Made an appointment to get a flu shot and it took over an hour. I was told to make an appointment so I did. While waiting I saw people walking in for shots without appointments. Walk ins were getting waited on before me.

We’ve gotten my 4 year olds covid shots done here this year, 2022, and had a really great experience. An appointment is required online. He had to get three of them being under the age of 5, but we didn’t have to wait long for any of them. The staff was great.

Pharmacy is not very reliable. Sometimes getting something filled here is like pulling teeth. If you need a prescription urgently send it to Walmart in Collinsville

Had a COVID testing appt and waited in drive through for 40 minutes and then NEVER got my results. What a waste of time. You could be the only one in the drive through and it’s still going to take minimum of 20 mins for them to get anything done. Swansea Walgreens pharmacy is 1000x better but they unfortunately don’t do testing anymore. Avoid Fairview at all costs

I went to walgreens in Fairview Heights Illinois to get 2 cans of power enfamil. I proceeded to the locked shelf to see if there was any available due to the formula shortage. When I looked, there were 6 cans of formula. I stepped from the aisle to find an employee to open the box and saw a black male walking towards me. I waved him down and asked if he could give me 2 cans. He looked at the shelf and said "Hold on one minute, I'm helping someone with the same question". Maybe one minute later, he returned and asked what I needed. I stated that I needed two cans of the enfamil. He told me "well I can't sell u any because the lady on the phone just claimed all 6 cans!" How do u allow one person to purchase 6 cans of baby formula during a nationwide shortage over the phone?? I made the statement that I was here to get the formula before the call was made and was told that doesn't matter because the person on the phone claimed it! I spoke with the lead and the store manager about the situation and was told the same thing, that they didnt wanna seem like a liar to the person buying the six cans, but its okay to allow a newborn to starve!?? There was a strict limit on toilet paper a year ago, but they are allowed to sell all of the store's 6 cans to one person!! Stupid and inconsiderate!!

Never come here to fill prescriptions. I waited 45 minutes to pick up my medication and 15 of that was at the window. This is not the first this has happened to me. The staff need more support, this is unacceptable.
