I have a four-year-old and a two-year-old that attend early years. And they love to tell me what they have learned each and every day. They are excited to go every morning and love to grab their bookbag and have a beautiful time. Becoming big boys. Thank you for all the teachers and staff,That lend a hand.

My 2 year old has been going to this daycare for a few months now and I cannot emphasize enough how indispensable their support has been through the transition from stay-at-home mom to single working mom. They helped to guide me through the whole process and even helped me with my childcare aid paperwork, when no other daycare was even willing to answer my questions. The difficulty of leaving your child with complete strangers for the first time, goes without question. The staff at The Early Years has gone above and beyond to not only support my child, but to support me, too.Obviously, my kiddo is very attached from spending 24/7 with me for her entire two years, but she warmed up to her teachers much faster than I ever could’ve hoped, which is a testament to the loving care they provide.Dropping her off at daycare is something she’s very excited for now and she talks about her teachers even when we’re home. There are bulletin boards outside each room with details posted about daily activities, meal schedules, and a monthly learning theme. They gently encourage all the children to try using the potty, and are always working on other skills, like numbers and colors, and friendship.Lastly, I will say that their communication has been top notch. Through the brightwheel app, they log each diaper change, meal, start/end of a nap, and send pictures and videos when they can. The thing that has given me the most peace of mind is their transparency and honesty. There was one day that another little one hit mine. It’s unavoidable sometimes, they’re kids. Even though the hit didn’t leave a mark, they still informed me that it happened. I’m certain that there are daycares out there that wouldn’t even mention such a minor thing, but knowing that they will tell me anything and everything gives me reassurance that I’ll never be left in the dark about my daughter’s well-being.Special thanks to Sydnee, Atika, Shyanne, Ciera, and Codi (who moved and now works at the collinsville location).

The daycare is very clean, and I love the way the staff messages through the app about the children! Just to ensure the our children are doing well knowing through the days app!! Is really appreciated!

I have been to this daycare several times. Management is incompetent.....I applied when the director told me there was space for both of my children. Waited 2 MONTHS calling everyday for an answer just be told "they will call you back", "they are on lunch" and finally ..."sorry, we actually don't have any space". I called the state department just to find out THEY NEVER TURNED IN MY APPLICATION....now im out a job.... if you want your time wasted by all means this is the place. 0 stars would be more accurate.

My son has been going to the Early Years daycare for about 3 months now and, although it was an adjustment at first, I'm proud to say he has fully adapted to the new environment and is loving it. The classrooms are diverse and the teachers are very kind. Since enrolling him in the Early years, I've noticed his speech and social skills improve dramatically.

Where to begin…the staff turnover is horrible. Within 2 months of starting in the preschool room, my child had 5 different teachers. There is absolutely no support or formal training for the teachers/aids. They spent their professional development day painting walls and remodeling. There is zero classroom management, and it was absolute chaos with kids running around screaming, throwing toys, etc. All of the teachers of quality quit long ago. There have been multiple DCFS calls and citations against this center. It is public knowledge and can be searched on the DCFS website. If your child has allergens do NOT send them here. My child was served allergens multiple times, and procedures that were supposed to prevent this from happening were not followed through. In fact, the staff member who was responsible is still employed at the center working in the kitchen. The owners do not care about the well-being of the children. All they care about is money and making the center look nice. There is an app Brightwheel that is rarely used. There is zero communication and important messages are often ignored. The rates are increased multiple times a year. There are other centers in the area that have far better care for about the same price. They are constantly advertising enrollment, yet every other center in the metro east has a year-long waitlist. Immediate red flag. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

It is such a relief to have a safe and fun place for our children to go during the day. They have a great curriculum and our kids are always learning something new. We love The Early Years!

My daughter has been attending The Early Years since she was almost one and we love it. More importantly, my daughter loves it! The communication is great and the teachers are fantastic. The teachers are so great with the children. They keep the classrooms clean and tidy. They are always welcoming and encouraging. We receive learning curriculums and weekly reports, as well as daily pictures and updates. My daughter can't wait to tell me about the things they learn each day.

My 5 year old began attending The Early Years in October 2018 (age 4) and he has developed so much thanks to his wonderful teachers. Ms. Nikki is a phenomenal pre-school teacher. My son comes home excited to tell me about everything he learned. He's excelling in basic math, his penmanship has improved, he's a critical thinker, and he's learned about the environment and historical figures. Ms. Tammy was his daycare provider when pre-school is not in session. Sadly, she sought outside employment and left the daycare. My son loved her, she was a very caring woman. There has recently been a change in ownership and I have nothing but positive things to say about Alexis and Terry. They are present throughout the week and as helpful as can be.

My son has been through the ringer previously at his prior daycare before coming here. (I won't mention names because not all situations are like his but the school was in Ofallon,IL I will add this) Let me tell you my first impression of our tour...Everything was bright and clean. Organization is key to a daily routine and they are most definitely organized and structure is key to a successful future. The owner was soooo down to earth and she reminds me of how we all would think a preschool teacher would be. Warm and kind, a heart made for little ones! The staff is very pleasant and keep the kiddos very busy. They work around children that are older and do not nap...this was our favorite part. My little guy has outgrown naps by the time he hit 4y and was forced to nap at previous daycare because there werent enough staff to work around this issue and only causing ongoing issues that carried through the remainder of everyday. At The Early Years, every morning a BIG hug is given from staff and routine starts immediately. My son has begged me to go to school on the weekends now! He went from "I hate school, I don't want to go to school, Im a bad kid and nobody likes me" to now he's "Can I please go to school today? When is Monday so I can go to school? I can't wait to go to school and play with my nice friends!" I can not get over the change in his behavior and self confidence! Even the evening sometimes I think, did they send home someone else's child? I am soooooo pleased with this Daycare by far. I would rate more then 5 stars if Google would let me!Highly recommend! Please reach out to them if you are interested. Mrs Alexis (the owner) will help you in every way she can!SincerelyAmanda

My grandson was attending this center and the owner spoke to my daughter about hypnosis and practicing on my grandson, needless to say my daughter and her husband removed him from that center. They are not good at keeping up with their books either. They sent a letter to them five months after my grandson left saying they owed money and they took the cleared check and letter of completion up there as proof. This center leaves more questions than answers!

Me and my family just moved here from North Carolina due my husbands military orders, yesterday we started looking for day cares and pre-K for my 5 year old daughter, which we found Early years I called to see what i needed to do to take the first step to getting her in due to that fact the she just turn 5 and can’t go to kindergarten, but very excited to start school, well I get to this location we walked in and as we’re walking in we see a lady that works at the front office she saw us walking in even my daughter waved at her and I smiled but she totally ignored us she totally disappeared so me and my daughter stand there waiting about 10-15 minutes for someone to come to the front , while we’re waiting my daughter had to use the bathroom as we’re walking to the restroom the same lady comes out so I asked her “is there anyone working the front desk today” she replied with an attitude “yea me” welll she goes to the front desk I ask her about the form that I need to fill out to get my daughter enrolled she looks at me and stares and for a minute she didn’t say anything all of a sudden she goes to get some other lady so I asked her for the form for enrollment all she did was give me a whole lot of paper work I was asking questions about the place and if should drop back the forms asking questions about the hours ,!she was obviously in a rush that all she said was “just drop them off” well that took the excitement out of my 5 year old so the lady that worked at the front just said “ I’m new here so I don’t know” they didn’t greet or anything if you treat my child like that in front of me I wouldn’t want to know how you would treat her when I’m not there .I will not put my child in this facility after that impression.

Laura Suria and the staff at The Early Years are phenomenal! I can't say enough good things about them. They are attentive, kind, genuinely care about the kids & parents and make you feel as though this is a "home away from home" for the kids. We have been sending out child here for years. There is secured passcode entry, cctv, and very attentive staff. I can come in at any time and see my child. She has fun while learning and loves going here. During the few times I have seen a child have a fit, Laura and the staff are great. They have amazing patience, help to quietly calm the child, and help redirect them in positive ways to get them back in track. In all the years we have come here, we have never heard anyone raise their voice or do anything of concern. I leave each day thankful we have this place for our daughter. I can't imagine her anywhere else.
