I certainly cannot speak for everyone else, but for me, this has been BY FAR the worst auto mechanic shop that I've ever been to. I've never even had this much trouble with a neighborhood local street mechanic before, let alone an actual establishment. If I could write this review and give ZERO stars I would. If you don't want your time wasted and want an effective and efficient repair, then I highly recommend that you go somewhere else.
I originally went in for AC issues, air wasn't blowing cold. Although, I initially assumed it was a condenser problem for other reasons. Drop the car off and the shorter guy with glasses tells me it should be ready before the end of the day. Get called a few hours later for pick up and once I get there he tells me that the only thing wrong with the AC is that it didn't have refrigerant. I told him that was best case scenario because condenser repair are expensive. Not even a full week later and my AC isn't blowing cold again, since they aren't open on the weekends I had to call off of work to get this issue fixed. Different guy is there this time, but I tell him that this is for sure a leak now. He says he'll get some dye and take a look at it. He was polite, but his body language showed me that he didn't really seem to be too confident or reassuring that he could efficiently and effectively repair the leak. Get a call a few hours later for pick up and he said that he didn't necessarily find the leak, but he replaced a few valves or something and then emphasized he wasn't going to charge me for it since I already paid the first time last week.
Fast forward to Monday, this is now the following week (3rd week in a row) my car is no longer blowing cold air. I find out when it's 97 degrees outside on my lunch break from work. I call them again to express my frustrations and concerns on why the leak hasn't been repaired. Shorter guy with glasses then tells me "Just bring it back, it's possible that you have multiple leaks".....wouldn't you have told me that prior and also weren't you guys supposed to repair those? I reiterated my frustration with the whole situation and his rebuttal was "When you came back last week he replaced some parts on your car and we didn't charge you. There's multiple parts to an AC system so we'll have to pull out everything and that takes time, you have to give me enough time to check it out. I'll need about a week. We're trying to do right by you, but you have to give us some time." Mind you, I never once pressured them to repair by a certain time. I'd rather a mechanic have my car as long as they need to in order to ensure that issue is solved or repaired. I just simply responded when they informed me it was ready to be picked up.
I responded by saying "Aren't you guys the professionals though? Aren't you all supposed to figure this out beforehand with the dyes? You didn't say this prior, you just said that it was out of refrigerant. How many more times will I have to keep coming back here for this? How am I supposed to be confident this will be the last time?" he then said something along the lines of "If I wasn't a professional then I wouldn't be on the phone with you right now explaining this. I would have told you you're out of luck and to maybe go look somewhere else. There's no auto mechanic shop in the world that can tell when the next time something will need to be repaired." After that I essentially just hung up. We weren't getting anywhere and by that point his tone, dismissive responses, and unaccountability had exacerbated my irritation. I've lost all confidence that they can even repair an AC leak. Then to make it seem like they were doing me a favor when I'm the one pulling strings at work in order to even take my car back for a TEMPORARY FIX after being told I should be good to go. Welp, $150 down

Karius Automotive is certainly a quality automotive shop. These guys here are not out to make money off of you. I called to get an A/C system recharge since I don’t have the equipment to do so and they were able to get me in and out quickly. Karius informed me that my A/C compressor was not functioning completely up to par which was indicative of the lack of cold air it was able to produce. They were able to provide me a quote for replacement and could get me in quickly. However, I do my own work on my vehicles within my skill set and decided to replace it on my own. Karius told me that they would evacuate the A/C system and recharge it as long as no refrigerant was lost without charging me for another A/C service! This would allow me to replace the parts on my own. I guarantee no other name brand garage would offer such service. The fact of the matter is, this shop is honest and won’t try to upsell you or even try to recharge you for services if you choose to do your own work. Definitely a rare gem now days and will definitely go to them if I ever need them over any other name brand competitor!!

This is the place to go for Subarus (2009 Forester and 2013 Outback) and Jeep Wranglers (2013 and 2015)! This shop does great work without upselling you in every dang step! Honest mechanics and owners that go out of their way to get it done correctly the first time!

Late last year the power steering went out on my F-150. I took it to Ford and they diagnosed the problem to a failure in the electric steering rack. The replacement part was not available...at the Ford dealership. They promised to call me as soon as the part was available, but months later I'm still waiting for that call. I called Karius and they found the part for me in about a week. It took a couple of days but they got the truck repaired. You can do far worse than use these guys!

Very honest mechanic. I came in to get my brakes checked because they were squeaking. He checked them out and let me know they didn’t need replaced and didn’t charge me anything. Always able to get my car in quickly too. Thank you

I'm so glad to have found a shop that deals with me fairly and with respect. If I can't do the work myself, I take my vehicles to Karius and Willie always gives me the best advice to do what's best for my car without charging me an arm and a leg. A fair and honest mechanic and a good guy.

Great experience. They diagnosed a check engine light issue and found that everything was actually working properly.
