I placed an online order on the app. An hour later I get to Joann’s and I notice that no progress was made with my order. So I call and no one picks up the phone, so I go in and ask about the details on my order. The lady that was at the register was nice and very helpful. The lady that was doing the online however was extremely rude. When finished my order, mind you it was only two skeins of yarn(in the same color even!) she came up to me and told me that the cutoff for online orders was 6 pm on week days, which I understand but I put my order in at 5:25 so there shouldn’t have been any issues especially since they had an hour before I even got there to fulfill the order. I feel like that lady was angry because she actually had to do her job and was mad at me when i put my order in with enough time for them to fulfill it. This is the first woman there that was extremely rude to me, every other worker has been extremely helpful and respectful.

I am so disappointed in the service from JoAnn's. I will not be ordering from them anymore and I definitely will not recommend them to anyone. I usually order from a couple of other big craft stores but i decided to try them out because they had some cute items. I ordered both online to pick up at store and to ship to my home and out of four orders, they cancelled something on every order even though they showed having plenty in stock when ordered. Worst service ever.

This location SERIOUSLY needs a sign/enforcement of knowing how much fabric you need before being served at the cut counter. (If you find anyone there to cut for you.) I can't tell you how many times I've had to leave my materials at the cut counter because the wait for one person to get fabric takes 15+ minutes and I've run short on time. Employees could chat a bit less with customers at the cut counter as well- I don't need to be interrogated about projects- please just cut my fabric in a timely manner and hire some cashiers. :c

Placed an online curbside pick up order. Parked in correct spot, checked in on the app, even had to select what kind of car I was driving, nobody had come out so I called, they said I have to go inside to pick up. Even though order was paid for and it says curbside I went inside, then they made me go through the checkout with 10 people and took 20 minutes for them to finally just grab my bag, hand it to me, and let me leave. Absolute works customer service I have ever seen in a store. Could have just handed me my bag when I walked in since it was paid for, but nope, gotta wait in a 20 minute checkout line. Newsflash, if you have to go in to pick up online *CURBSIDE* orders, why do I have to tell you what kind of car I'm in? And why is there a specific parking spot? Terrible service.

I was on the phone with customer service and they had to transfer me to a different worker because my online order wasn’t showing up in the system. the person i got transferred to raised her voice at me and interrupted me so much to the point where i couldn’t even get out an “okay”. she preceded to belittle me by explaining how the order system worked and how she was in the right, when i hadn’t even argued with her. i couldn’t even say a letter without her interrupting me.

I visited JoAnn’s on 5 Sept. I bought some black sparkling fabric to finish a Christmas project. The line at the cut table wasn’t too bad and checkout was really fast. The staff was very efficient. Overall, the experience was great!

By far this was probably one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a retail store I walked in, asked a girl at the counter where hide his material was and she pointed at the back wall, and told me walk all the way back there and you’ll find it in a maze of about 1000 fabrics. And when I walked up to her again, expecting her to actually show me where it was. She scoffed at me and told me that it’s on the back wall and it was in an extremely rude tone. And after that, I did not want to ask any employees where to find anything I had drove 45 minutes to come to the store.

Kudos to this particular location. After a snafu at another location and terrible customer service from the Joann call center, Kathy helped me out! She certainly saved the day by helping me get the material I needed.
