Staff is very friendly and always helpful. Kathy in sewing machines is great. Very knowledgeable and eager to help. Great teacher which is why I specifically went to Jackman’s in Fairview heights to buy my babylock multi-needle embroidery machine. Mary Suzanne was also extremely helpful and patient when I kept changing my mind on accessories. You can tell they love what they do as they always have smiles on their faces.

Wow, where do I start? I shop at Jackman's from time to time and there's nice fabric and gorgeous prints of fabric in the home decor department. The store could use some updating because as soon as you walk in that carpet is so dated looking that it should be replaced with hardwood flooring. Actually, the entire store should be updated/renovated. I was shocked that the parking lot had a makeover which was long overdue. I'm also disappointed that they sell Floriani software, but don't offer the classes to learn it, so why sell a product if you aren't offering the classes on it, make it make sense. Also, why not offer classes for home decor? I have also shopped at other local sewing and fabric shops in the area, and I will say one has ethnic and exotic prints that other stores lack. It would be nice if Jackman's can offer a nice variety of ethnic and Asian prints as well. I will say Patricia is very friendly and helpful and will go out the way to answer any questions you may have. She greets you with a welcoming smile. I hope Jackman's will plan on having home decor classes for the upcoming year.

Susan was soo helpful! This was my first time attempting to reupholster our bed and she helped me with the whole process. Could not recommend her or this store more.

I ran into Jackmann‘s today, and I was greeted by one of the warmest sales person there Patricia!! She has waited on me several times and her knowledge of her department is outstanding. As a designer sometimes I’m not sure what I’m looking for but she’s always willing to help me search for the right fabric!!Thank you Patricia for the great service and you have a wonderful personality I always enjoy seeing your smiling face there!!

I've shopped here for over 20 years and always have had a wonderful experience. Hopefully today is not an indication of things to come. Supervisor "Betty". Older lady decided to but in on a younger clerk and told her she could not measure a piece of fabric I was inquiring about. After she had fully scared the nice cleerk she started in on me. I would have nothing to do with that. Hopefully she learned. Now that I think about it this has happened several times in this store. The older lady decides to but in and demean the younger clerk right in front of the customer.

I love went to Jackmans because I was referred to them but I didn’t will not go back to this location . I was in the store for a quite 10 minutes and no one offered help or a hello. And workers walked passed me?

The store is always clean and organized, with many samples! The best is that all the employees are so sweet! Always willing to help you find that special treasure(s). And THEY DON’T STRETCH THE FABRIC WHEN THEY MEASURE IT! I purchase 3 yards, I get 3 yards, not 2 yards and 33-34 inches!

This fabric store is wonderful! I went in recently looking for upholstery fabric and Patti was there to help me out. I took my time, looked at everything they had, and came back to Patti with some questions. She not only answered me but went above and beyond to provide options for what I wanted. She was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. While I am very happy with my purchases, working with Patti was the delight that made my day. I highly recommend this fabric store for their wide selection and exceptional employees.
