Bathroom floor was sticky. The door wouldn’t close all the way. Front desk staff wasn’t very friendly. Not a fan.

I stay at holiday inns 95% of the time while traveling and have found some excellent and some are nothing special. Well this was nothing special, service was not the normal. She wasn’t friendly like most are pretty much checked me in and didn’t even say anything else I had to ask her questions like do I get my point for being a reward member like they normally just ask me what I would like (they points, breakfast a snack etc..) where the elevators are, the pool, gym, etc. the room was a little musty but I was so tired I just passed out. It’s not a bad place but also nothing special.
Rooms: Smelled musty. The lobby and hallways was warm too. Seems like there trying to save electricity

*Update*
Stayed here again for a quick little getaway and to enjoy some St. Louis BBQ. Yeah, the carpets do need to be changed, and some repairs here and there, but overall, this is still a great location to stay if you desire a comfortable place in the area.
Myself and two others were in town for a trade show and this Holiday Inn fulfilled all of our needs. Comfortable beds, a large bathroom, decent food in the restaurant. If staying in the area, give this Holiday Inn a shot. You'll be happy you did.

I am a platinum elite member so I’ve been to my share of Holiday Inn’s all over the country. My main complaint in this instance is the breakfast service in general! Waitress was lethargic in her service. We were only 3 people there at the time I showered up. A couple in the table close to me and I. I asked for coffee when the waitress finally got to me. She said that it was not ready??? So I said bring me an orange juice! The cup was so small I drank it in sips because I’d finish it in one gulp if I was not careful. I ordered a generic breakfast, 2 eggs over easy, ham and bacon! Nothing extravagant! I was barely into my first couple bites and I finished my juice. I looked around and no one in sight. So I stopped eating because I was waiting for someone to appear so I can tell them to fill my glass up again. Waitress finally appeared and filled it again. I put picture of the glass for reference and put my hand in front to show how small glass was. I was scared to be charged per cup of juice I finished with second cup my cold breakfast! Long story short, too expensive for the service and limited Menu that’s for breakfast. I don’t want to try lunch or dinner!

Not sure where any good reviews came from this place. Very outdated and dirty. Had to change rooms due to uncleanliness and the next room wasn’t much better. Sheets were heavily stained and covered with dog/ human hair. Shower had mold in multiple places and carpets were nasty. Had to talk myself into staying because I was so tired. Pass this place up.

I have NEVER experienced a guest service agent like Rachel!!!! She is soooooo amazing and HILARIOUS! We had to have bugged her a million times during our 2 night stay and at no point did she become frustrated, impatient, annoyed, or any type of negative response. Instead, she always responded in a comical way! She even came to our room late night to fix our tv. During the 53rd phone call my Godmother made to her, myself and my daughters made fun of my Godmother’s email address she was giving to Rachel for her rewards. My Godmother yelled at us and said she’s not getting us cereal and milk in the morning and then asked Rachel what kind do she eat. She told Rachel she love fruit loops. Minutes later there was a knock on our door and to our surprise, it was Rachel with fruit loops and milk for everyone!!!! That was one of many ways Rachel made our stay a happy one with lots of laughter! She deserves employee of the year!!!

I make it a point when I'm going to be in the St.louis area to stay here. This hotel is clean, comfortable and the staff is very attentive to the guest needs. Even though though they don't off a free breakfast I always opt for the breakfast option when I book my room. It's totally worth the extra $10. The restaurant inside the hotel is great very high quality food and very large portions. The cook and Bartender Bob is amazing. Everyone there really does a outstanding job. I won't hesitate to stay here in the future. Awesome place!

I do not recommend this hotel. It is understaffed and room cleanliness is suffering because of it. A front desk staff member informed me he was having to clean rooms. This is not the typical Holiday Inn experience. Sheets were not changed, it's really a disgusting thing to pull back the sheets and find excessive body hair throughout the bed. If for some reason you read my review and thought hmm this sounds like a nice place to stay, first rethink that. Next do NOT use a third party to book such as Priceline. It makes getting a refund or cancelling nearly impossible. Kenya (spelling?) at the front desk was nice in the morning and listened to my grievances and offered a free breakfast...Did I mention there is no complimentary breakfast at this hotel?! I chose a Holiday Inn as that's the norm. But not here. However the free breakfast didn't make up for the bad night, and only so much could be done because I paid via third party.

The hotel room was clean and the staff were very nice. Would recommend for traveling with family.
Rooms: The room was clean upon arrival but always take Lysol just to spray and sanitize.
Safety: Didn’t have any problems as far as strange people.
