I have a B&W T-10, with a Hurst Super Shifter 2, that I blew some gears in. Who rebuilds vintage transmissions these days? Pro Car does. If Ms. Holley and Mr. Edelbrock had a baby, this is Billy the owner. Billy re-built the trans, tuned up my shifter and linkage, good as new! Thanks Billy
They work in all kinds of old cool cars and trucks.

Pro Car Hot Rods is by far the best place to have your car taken care of. The work speaks for itself if there were 10 stars I would give them 20. Thank you guys!!

I got my car out of Pro Car Transmission shop, 9139 S.Kedzie, Evergreen Park, IL. After being in that establishment for 4 weeks, I had made several trips to the shop to find out the status and why was it taking so long to diagnose. On one of my visits, Bill Nydam the owner indicated that the carburetor needed to be welded/modified and it would be around $300. Upon finally picking my car up Bill came up with the amount of $511.25 I was astound because he initially quoted me one price and then charge me a higher price. I asked why the price increased. Bill stated that he made some repairs to the distributor on the car (points) with out my knowledge or consent. Keep in mind that my car is a 1969 Chevy frame off rotisserie restoration meaning everything was completely new on the car. After driving my car for several weeks I noticed the car was responding the same way before I initially took my car to Bill's shop. I called him to inform him that the car was responding the same way prior to me taking the car to his shop. His respond was "drive it the car needs to be driven everything is still new and hasn't been sorted out". I explained to Bill that I don't drive the car on a continuous basis except for shows and some leisure driving. Then several more weeks passed I called Bill and told him that I detected a strong order of gas fumes coming from the carburetor, he stated that he didn't have any spots available at his shop and he would notify me once a spot became available. Well I never received a call. I took my car to World Class Auto Repair a specialty shop that specializes in carburetor work. The owner Steve who inspected my car and looked at the repair bill from Pro Car Transmission showed me that there was absolutely no modification done to the carburetor linkage what so ever. I feel I was scammed and defrauded based on the performance of my car and the inspection report. I reported my complaint to Better Business Bureau and was informed that Bill Nydam, the owner of Pro Car Transmission never responded or address the compliant. Therefore, BBB gave the shop a negative rating.
