Placed a recent order and reminded me why we stopped using Menard's.
A rolling stop for a delivery with less than 60 second wait time? Completely unprofessional. Delivery location was provided on the 22nd so you should've had it well before the delivery date. What kind of company ignores a customer returning your call literally less than a minute after you departed and not only letting the call go to voicemail, but you returned the order?!? Could've had the decency to answer the call and turn around since you would have been barely down the street. I don't see any contracts lasting if this is how business is being done. If the delivery had happened, probably would've damaged the property by ramming the forklift into things anyway.
Completely incompetent and unprofessional delivery. Every single time there's an issue. Now you expect us to pay the ridiculous delivery charge again to have it redelivered? Scam artists! Buyer beware. Do not do business here! The only reason we did was because they stocked a certain piece of lumber no one else had.
Update 06-11-2024:
Got contacted by someone that said they will talk to the manager. They referenced "call times" which is nonsense since they had the information they needed well ahead of time. Called again today after not hearing anything for seven days and they claimed to be in communication with corporate via email while still talking nonsense about call times. It sounds like they are doubling down on their idiocy and trying to get corporate to believe them. It doesn't matter what corporate says since your "policies" don't supercede the demands of payment processors and the transaction/consumer laws within the United States. Completely incompetent and shady.
Update 08-07-2024:
Payment processor wasn't buying any of Menard's lies. They attempted to pass off bogus tracking information unrelated to our claim in an attempt to keep our money. They also attempted to lowball by stating a number that was almost $600 under what we were owed for the items that weren't delivered. Luckily we recieved out funds back. This is just a shady company that nobody should do business with. They even had the nerve to send us an email asking us to stop by so they can promote our business in the middle of this dispute! What a joke.

Lots of people around to work and still poor customer service on a management level. All items are misprinted and stocked wherever. A waste of time. Not a convenient trip. Needs a lot of improvement.

So as a guest, when shopping in a store and you see 1 Tag on the shelf multiple times, you will think, for this particular situation, oh cool 97 cents for these pathway lights. Let me get 6 of them. Then when your already in line about to pay and you see it says $2.25. Kinda of difference. So when go back there to meet up with an employee by the name of Arturo who has a smart a-- attitude to begin with, says the sign above says its $2.25.... and when I took this pic of the pricing mislead he had a smart a-- response of, oh so your going to take a picture of the small tag but not the big tag! And does that offend you that I did? I wasn't even going to post a comment, nor do a review. And I took the picture just to show the lady at the register what I had saw. And I was still going to get the 6 lights but that Arturo dude changed my whole damn vibe. I have gone in there 6 straight days in a row to buy product to finish off a big yard project at my house and those lights was the last of the project... the cherry on top. But I said forget it and didn't even bother buying it. That Arturo dude is bad service. Just an FYI, every disk light, red wood chips, the pavers in the walkway, the white rocks, the bricks around the trees, even the lawnmower I used to cut the grass with and the white Christmas lights you see I brought from the Menards on western. Thousands and thousands of dollars I spent at that store so the lights was chump change. But that $12 lights I didn't buy because Arturo little smart remarks.

This location has consistent bad service, whether it's giving the customer wrong information on prices and products or just outright ignoring them completely.

Unfortunately no one at this establishment understands what false advertising is. I couldn't make it to the store for a purchase,so I did it online. Online reflected what supposedly is stocked or not in store at a location. Well they said they didn't have the item in store I would have to order it online. Come to find out they had the item in store & 1/2 price of original online purchase. I decided I want to purchase the in store item, they charged me a 25% restocking fee for a special order that was available in store. I wouldn't have bought the online product, if the online website would have reflected the true availability of that particular store, now I'm being penalize.
I hardly shop at Menards, this is the first time I use Menards for a major purchase. Moving forward I don't think I will again, because that wasn't okay to charge me for something they said they didn't have available in the store and called it a special order.

I have been coming to this particular store since their opening and to this day, most of their employees are still polite, professional, and respectful. I have never had a bad interaction with any of their staff and for that, I say Thank You and keep up the great work! ?

I love Menards I buy all my roofing materials at Menards but I will never ever go back their again . I went to rent a pick truck to get my materials to client house . And manager name Anam was the worst treatment I have ever experienced treated me like a thief and liar. I asked to speak to manager and very sassy I'm the manager. Well to make story short I will be reporting both her and Jesus B. The store manager to corporate. I rented a pick up truck and their where hair line scratches on side and they told me I did it and she took pictures of damages . And I never saw the pictures telling me it's time stamped . I told them the truck is filled inside the truck with scratches and on other side also . They are keeping my deposit of $300 which I spent $1200 on materials. And I only had 75 min I asked Anam that I had to load the truck in back and that would take 30 min just for that . She rolled her eyes like she was doing me a favor and said to have guy time stamped when I leave the yard . Which I did took me less then an hour when I returned accusing me of small scratches on the side that she took pictures before I left . I asked her if your doing this why not bring custumer and walk around the truck so I can initials prior damages and she said it's not her job and that their where keeping my $300 deposit and Jesus was the worse you have guy like this running the store he would not even listen . He said he would report this to my insurance like I destroyed thier truck It pissed me off once I went back . I decided to go to Home Depot and but my material I went to uhaul this time to pick up materials and later that day returned the materials . I'm done with this store . Jesus and Anam have worst personality to run multi million dollar store that's a shame. I already told all my roofers to stay away from Menards especially the one in Evergreen park . And our company spends over $400k per yr on roofing materials which is pennies to this store . But it a matter of principle they let me use their truck like it's was brand new it was filled with scratches so now I wonder if this is what they do to all custumers let them get the rentals and take away their deposit to pack their numbers. I will be reaching to Corporated and their response was go ahead and Jesus said he will reach out to my insurance to make a claim . What a horrible person you have managing your store . The scratches can be easily be buffed out but again the way I was treated here is my biggest issue . I will keep letting my chain of connection to avoid this store .

Poor customer service. Took 1.5 hours to get assistance with a $551 purchase. Asked for assistance from adjacent department to call for help in department in question and no one called. Training and common sense is greatly needed. Terribly disappointed.

March 25th, 2024, around 8:10 pm.
This Menards is actually my favorite that normally receives 5stars.
The cashier, help on the floor, and even the employees getting the carts outside all had a very pleasant welcome and are so helpful.
However, today, I had a return. I had the receipt for one item and couldn't find a receipt for the other item. Anam asked for my ID. I give the ID to her in her hand. She proceeded to put my ID on the counter. She told me the return amount and grabbed my two receipts, and the guest check and put it on the counter again. Since there is plenty of room on the receipt, there is no reason to touch my hand. I asked if there was a problem? Why are you putting everything on counter instead of my hand? Can you staple the receipt like all the other customer service cashiers.
I've never encountered an unpleasant customer service until today.
