I don't know why everyone is complaining about the staff. They are all very friendly and nice. Especially the Pharmacy staff. Jacklyn was especially helpful.

Outside of long lines the management and staff use to be friendly and professional at this particular walgreens on Greenbay road, unfortunately that is no longer evident, being replaced with juvenile, unprofessional management, which can damage The overall perception of the staff and facility itself. Management sets the standard.

they don't even deserve one star , apart from the pharmacy department being completely inept and rude they are never able to fill a prescription with out making problems. they ask you to call but never answer the phone, ive waited as much as one hour to have them answer the phone and finally just gave up. the people that work in the pharmacy have no idea what they are doing and I'm sure if they are this bad they must be causing even worse problems for patients who's prescriptions they do fill. Stay away fro their pharmacy!!!!!

The most rude pharmacy employees. It takes them 10 minutes to answer the phone & when they do they are rude & unprofessional. Of all pharmacies in the area they are the worst. Hands down. Switch your prescription elsewhere. Anywhere but there.

Worst Walgreens in history. And that's saying something!!! Dirty, dark, horrific customer service.

I manage 20 prescriptions for my parents, and if I thought there was another pharmacy any better, I would switch. The pharmacy is so completely dysfunctional and unreliable, you can literally trust nothing they say. I'm sure all the people that work there try hard, and the circumstances are difficult, and there are a lot of upset customers to manage. I have to call in prescriptions a week ahead of time and follow up with humans until I receive a verbal confirmation. The automated system doesn't work, and they freely admit it. And even when I have a verbal confirmation, they still screw it up.

Arrived at my appointed time for my booster, the staff had no record in their system and declined to give me a shot. They said this was common and had been a problem for a long time, but they were restricted by Walgreens' policy from giving the vaccination. Their systems don't work, they sell junk for high prices, and don't have any flexibility to accommodate for their mistakes. When I called their 'customer service' 800 number just to tell them they need to fix their system, the wait time was 15 minutes. Very, very not a good organization. Recommend a boycott of these guys until they figure out they get their profits from customers, and they need to provide some service.

Already a below average Walgreens when it comes to selection and cleanliness, this location also features less than friendly or responsible management. The store posts a sign telling patrons that they must wear masks to enter the store. But when I was standing in the checkout line, the young man behind me refused to wear a mask while talking forcefully on the phone (spraying droplets in the process. I asked to see management so I could find out why the store would allow this. The manager on duty was rude and almost belligerent. "We're not the police!" he said. "There's nothing we can do about it." I asked him directly: "This is a private businesses and you have standards and policies. Can you please enforce them for everyone's safety?" He then raised his voice and repeated, "We're not the police." I responded that people often come to a Walgreens for health reasons, meaning that their health may already be compromised, putting them at additional risk. He just said "We're not the police." I told him he'd lost my business and that I was planning to post a yelp review, and he shrugged his shoulders and turned away. Congrats this to the excellent and responsive service one can expect at the Walgreens at 635 Chicago Ave. in Evanston, where I found myself 30 minutes later to complete the shopping I abandoned at the north Evanston location. I asked someone at the checkout counter, what was this store's policy about that? The young woman there thoughtfully and warmly explained that yes, this was store policy, but it was a very challenging one to enforce and that she and other people who worked there had received a lot of verbal abuse and threats for attempting to enforce it. She said they also offer unmasked customers a mask and do their best to keep people healthy. And she apologized for the conduct of the management of the other store and assured me that this was not how Walgreens employees should act and that she hoped I could feel safe and comfortable in this location. Class act all around. I can appreciate the stress that the north Evanston manager might feel, but there's no excuse for being rude and dismissive, especially during a health crisis in a store geared largely towards people's health. The woman working checkout at the south Evanston store offered a clinic on smart, responsive and productive management skills -- the man working in North Evanston could learn a few things from her, and she deserves the leadership position and accompanying paycheck that he clearly does not.

The indian lady, im not sure if she was a manager or shift lead she was working the evening shift was very rude. She has a very bad attitude. Im a regular walgreens customer but this is location is definitely one I will not go back too. I'm big on customer service so when i asked her something and she answered me with a mean demeanor and horrible attitude, I pretty much didn't even bother to shop there.

The lead associate was super annoying because the customer in front of us wanted to stay in the line when he said the next person could step over to the other register. Like instead of calling IC3 why dont you get on the register and help instead of trying to be a smart Alec. I'll go to target where the lead associate doesn't take his frustration out on the customers.

It has taken this long and a lot of effort on my part to fully resolve this issue. One prescription... a lot of my time wasted.

The worst service ever. The lazy cashiers don't try to move along problem customers management doesn't help either waited in line 10minutes while some lady called someone, about what she was purchasing, and when assistant came to help instead of moving her to side she comes back with wrong item for the lady and we have to wait again why she runs back to get it, in meantime I was finally helped by the other very slow cashier. Since when do cashiers sit on their rear to help she looked like she was falling asleep and in no hurry to help customers. Do yourself a favor hit up CVS much faster.
