They try their best to get hundreds of prescriptions out every day. I take 4 meds and fill each one every month and like this Walgreens better than my old one. The Hispanic woman is very good at processing scripts and typing fast. Both the black guy and brown haired guy move quickly too.

Every time I come to this pharmacy whether it’s for a new prescription or a recurring one, whether the medication is “ready” or not, whether I go in the store or through the drive thru, it’s a s show. I just left after waiting for a half hour for the tech to trudge around the store looking for my single prescription that was ready. No care in the world for other peoples time. Clearly no organization. Some staff are nice, some are rude some are like talking to brick walls. Which I might as well be doing half the time because half the time I pull in to the drive thru there is no one there with no signage indicating that no one will be coming (not during the meal breaks/off hours, I am aware of those). Just overall the worst pharmacy experience time and time again. Would switch if I could.

Avoid avoid avoid this pharmacy like the plague. Every month, my prescriptions are delayed by *at least* a week. And picking up? You’ll be here minimally 30 mins. Regardless of day of week or time. It’s the middle of the day on a Wed and I’m currently at 50 mins and counting. They are short staffed and have computer issues all the time.

Rude as heck service , I just come in to grab a few things and that's it . Not get the stink eye and have things mumbled at me under their breath as I'm walking away. Maybe if you have an attitude problem just stay home . Whoever that is with the braids at the counter needs to learn how to speak to queer people. I don't feel comfortable at this store anymore .

My experience with the Walgreens on Chicago Ave has consistently been horrible, frustrating with conflicting messages, delays and pharmacists typically sounding annoyed when I've tried to navigate getting a simple prescription. I don't know if their lack of professionalism rises to the level of Pharmacy Negligence or perhaps even Malpractice. I'm done with them. 95% of the time over the past few years I've used Sam's Club on Main Street and they've been wonderful...now it'll be 100% of the time. I am giving pharmacy crew of this office and Alex 4 stars. This is an excellent office and they know their jobs. This is the office that needs more staffing focus. All skokie pharmacy staff needs to be learning from Evanston and Alex’s staff. The pharmacist in skokie has no leadership or technical skill, nor do his staff.

Got the notification last Thursday that my meds is ready for pick up. So I went to pick up the meds today , Sunday ,at Walgreens Pharmacy . Guess what it's not ready. Pharmacist told me to wait ten minutes and it will be ready. I've been standing and walking around for almost an hour so I decided to line up so I could follow up on it. My turn came and I told the pharmacy tech that I'm waiting for the meds. She ask me to wait because she has to do something first and came back after a few minutes. Then I told her the name of the meds and my info. She went and got the meds which been sitting there for a while. Nobody notified me or paged me that it's been ready and I could be waiting and waiting forever if I didn't asked them. Their pharmacy service is really bad and the only reason I go there is because it's nearby. Besides that I have no business going there.

FedEx at this location are THIEVES. They don't return your item, they STEAL it. Don't go there for FedEx. Worst FedEx ever.

I have been a loyal customer at the Walgreens pharmacy in Evanston for the past ten years, but unfortunately, I have witnessed a significant decline in service quality due to staffing shortages. My recent experiences have compelled me to share my concerns. One of the most alarming issues I've encountered is billing errors that occurred in 2021. These errors not only resulted in the exhaustion of my benefits but also caused real harm, necessitating state intervention to rectify the situation. Such mistakes are unacceptable and have significantly impacted my trust in the pharmacy's operations. Furthermore, the waiting experience at this Walgreens location is far from satisfactory. The lines are not only staggering but also completely unpredictable. It's disheartening to see that the pharmacy is not fully staffed, leading to extended waiting times for customers. Moreover, there have been instances where the pharmacist, a crucial part of the pharmacy team, is not always present. This decline in service quality is disappointing, especially for a customer who has been loyal for a decade. I believe Walgreens needs to address these staffing issues promptly to ensure the well-being of its customers and maintain the trust they have built over the years. In conclusion, my recent experiences at the Walgreens pharmacy in Evanston have left me concerned about the deteriorating quality of service. Addressing staffing shortages and improving overall efficiency is crucial to restoring the reputation of this pharmacy.

Walgreens, this pharmacy is understaffed. My prescription was in progress for a week just for this pharmacy to admit that they had not placed an order for it. I’m now out and desperately calling other stores in the area. I’ve been actively discouraged from going to this pharmacy and now I see why

The pharmacy situation here is serious. How can they expect a patient to wait 24 hours for a heart rhythm medication for atrial fibrillation. The Cardiologist wanted this started today! This is totally unacceptable! I will pursue reporting this to the pharmacy board. Get some help over here to fill vital medications same day for our community!
