Friendly, fast, efficient. My only disappointment was I wanted to have them reuse a box . The staff indicated it would be recycled. Not the same so I took it back. What’s the problem with reuse?

UPS broke the fly rod I shipped in a hard sided tube that I’ve used before. They charged a premium so the tube was not put through the normal machinery and moved by hand as they described. Well it looks like a fork lift and Godzilla got to it and my valuable fly rod is shattered to bits. I’ve sent them detailed photos of the damage and they don’t reply. 0 stars for this place.UPS RESPONSE UPDATE: fill out a form online with all the information they already have. SHIP FEDEX

I do not recommend sending your packages through this location. Two weeks after sending a package to California, I got a call saying the package had been returned and waiting for me at the store. They said that they had attempted to deliver it and left a notice and sent emails. My nephew informed me that he hadn't received any notices from UPS. They also said that I (the sender) had also been emailed notices of the situation. That is completely false. They said I needed to pay another $52 in order for the package to be resent. When I complained to their manager, I got nowhere. He acted as though I was lying. I will never use this store again, and will probably use Fed Ex in the future.

I would like to extend a special thank you to the staff member, Sergio Perez. He was incredibly helpful today! Sergio kindly assisted me with carrying my heavy packages and even went the extra mile by dropping them off for me. His exceptional helpfulness and willingness to go above and beyond truly impressed me. I highly recommend this store and commend the outstanding service provided by Sergio and the rest of the staff. Thank you for making my visit so positive! You guys are awesome!

I've been a frequent customer of this UPS shipping store since its opening many years ago. Though they have turned over both management/ownership and staff several times, my experiences have always been very positive. In fact, the current team is exceptional in all ways -- friendly, go-the-extra mile customer service, reliable (have never lost/misplaced a package!), etc.Highly recommend for your shipping needs.

UPS Driver dropped a package off here for me to pick up. According to UPS, it was scanned into the store at 12:17 PM Thursday. The people at the store could not find it. They said they would open an investigation. They did not do so. They said they would call me with an update. They did not do so. I hope they enjoy the item that was in the box. I will drive out of my way to the downtown Evanston UPS Store in the future. They are nice, competent, honest and care about stuff.

I delivered four heavy packages from the 2906 Central Evanston location on the 21st of Jan '22. Lucas did a wonderful job of taking care of my needs quickly, efficiently, and courteously. They arrived at their destination in Brooklyn NY, exactly as promised and I was happy but that wasn't enough to get me to write this review. Today, I called back because I needed info regarding that delivery. I got Lucas again. It was clearly a busy day. He had to put me on hold for a moment. He got back to me, took down my info and needs, and then returned to his other customers. Shortly there after I looked at my email and just as he had promised, once he had taken care of his line of customers he had an email in my inbox with everything I needed. Lucas is an asset to UPS. They are succeeding in this location thanks to their exceptional employees.

The young men that work here are so helpful and have made it possible for me to have paperwork printed, notarized and sent during COVID. I was in today with my elderly mom who is really, really difficult and they took it in stride and helped us like always. I cant say enough good things about the UPS store on Central.

Horrible experience. Do not trust them to care about your packages. Spent $180 to ship 2 boxes of family heirlooms via UPS Ground. One box was 34 lbs full of fragile items that I very carefully wrapped in bubble wrap. After I asked the guy working there if I should write "fragile" on the box he said 'no' and assured me that he would put Fragile tape onto my box. It never was. Clearly UPS tossed the box around and when it arrived to me, most of the items were broken. I called and spoke with the store manager, Chuck. He watched the security tape and saw with his own eyes that no 'fragile' tape was ever put on the box and yet he couldn't even bring himself to offer an apology. No "I'm sorry that happened" or "I apologize for our mistake". Nothing. He tried to throw the blame onto UPS and file a claim through them (which he will say is protocol). No respect for this type of rude customer service. Go somewhere else to ship your packages.

It’s Tuesday, July 16, 10:13 am; no one there and no answered phone. I was one of 4 people who came and left. This is very poor service. Hours on door are incorrect, also. Says they open at 8:30.
