Today was our first visit and loved browsing all the items and deciding what we wanted. Very nice selection of books at a very reasonable price. Picked up some mala beads (very reasonably priced), can always use more incense:). A nice beginners sized sound bowl for a nice price as well. We will definitely be back!!! Tashi was very accommodating.

Super quaint shop that's got an extensive collection of religious/philosophical texts, Buddhist symbols, and Tibetan clothing/art. The prices are a little on the higher end (I spent $60 on my first visit for a book, two mala bracelets, and a print), but I didn't mind because it was supporting a local business. The shop owner escaped Tibet at age 7 and immigrated to the US after living for years in India. They've got a great knowledge of local Buddhist community gatherings/groups, as well as information about how you should plan your trip if you ever travel to Tibet. A must-visit in the NorthShore area for any of the sangha -- beginners or long-term practitioners-- as well as folks interested in learning about other cultures.

very helpful and interesting owners...a huge selection of Asian items. many from Tibet. I bought Loong tea, which actually helps me to fall asleep!! incense, Buddhas, books, clothes, handmade paper, jewelry...

No other place around for some of these items! Very nice person behind the counter, very helpful. If you're interested in objects of Asian art, books on Tibetan Buddhism, or even some good incense, check them out!

A hidden gem in Evanston. This shop is perfect for finding authentic Tibetan items like singing bowls and meditation books and accessories and the owners are helpful. If you are looking for a unique book related to Tibet.... you can ask them and they will see if they can get it in. If you are looking for a gift that has spiritual tone with eastern flavor... this is the place to go.

Love this shop...brought back my recollections of travels to Nepal and Tibet. The woman running the shop is from Tibet and we shared many stories. The items were great....I highly recommend going here.
