I’ve been on the hunt of a new car for a while now and decided to make Mazda my first spot where I shop - I left with a CX-5 that evening without a doubt in my mind!
Jason Harris was amazing help. He was honest, real, and genuine. Any questions we had about the cars he answered with full authenticity. He was more than willing to guide me with whatever I needed to know about the cars and all of the finances. I will be referring this Mazda and Jason to anyone who needs it.
10/10 experience, thank you so much Mazda!! :)

I had purchased from Auto Barn previously and knew that I would give them my business again if purchased another Mazda. After extensive research, I decided on a CX-30 Carbon Turbo. Ivan Saez was amazing to deal with and made the whole experience great. I highly recommend them for potential Mazda customers. By the way, the car is amazing!

This review is for Jay that works in the service department. Let me start off by saying I had the most difficult & most derogatory experience at the McGrath Mazda on Grand ave (I advise you to NOT GO THERE). Although Evanston is a very far drive, I took the gamble. Let me say... I am SO GLAD that I did. Jay took so much time to answer all of my questions, treated me with so much respect & made sure that I was satisfied before I left. He even made sure to give me more information about Mazda & all that they have to offer. I am so glad that he was my service advisor! I will now only come to this location moving forward. Thank you for treating me like a valued customer!!! He truly deserves all the recognition he receives.

I purchased a 2024 Mazda 3 for my son at the Autobarn Mazda of Evanston. This was by far my best car purchase experience. Jeff was always accessible and kept me informed about the vehicle that had been in transit. While there was a bump in the road, Jeff and Ross found a work around that remained within my budget ,agreed upon price, and delivery time frame. I can definitely see myself returning to this dealership when I am in the market for another vehicle.

6.19.24 I traded a 2024 Chevy Trax 1RS for a 2024 Mazda CX-30 2.5 S (the cheapest trim). Tommy was my Sales Consultant. He knew I wanted my note to stay around where it was $390.46. Due to a cyberattack dealers were down nationwide. I was told everything had to be done manually. Tommy & I started negotiating, he was going back & forth from me & another gentleman. He asked what my interest rate was, I said about 8+. He asked how much I would put down, I said $5,000. He went out again, came back & said I can get you a monthly note of $540 with 11% interest. I complained and asked why interest was so high, he said it was because of negative equity. He asked if I could put an add'l $3,000 I agreed & told him to exclude the extended warranty. I was directed to Elias Sanchez, Finance Mgr. He told me he got my note down to $520, he put the warranty back in & said he gave me evos & ceramic. I didn't know what evos & ceramic was, Mr. Sanchez didn’t explain it or mention anything about money (that went over my head). I wasn't happy about $520 but went ahead w/purchase. He had a tablet & directed me to click & sign electronically in multiple places. I couldn't see anything, I mentioned that to him. I believed I was signing on what we verbally discussed, I didn't know I was sitting w/a thief. I put $5,000 down to take the car home. Mr. Sanchez said he would set up an appt & call me to finish signing paperwork & pay add’l $3,000. I periodically checked with Tommy to see if system was up. Mr. Sanchez called on 7.16, asked when I would bring the $3,000, I told him I was waiting on him to call. I gave my debit card no. & paid over the phone. I went in that evening after work & signed remaining paperwork. I asked him about the power of attorney he mentioned on 6.19 because I've never heard of that. He said it's standard I believe. I signed paperwork, he said he’ll email the Bill of Sale the next day. When I rec'd the BOS I saw DENT DING FUSION 5YR $3,019, 1st Place Finish $750.00, Service Contract $2,600.00, & Ethos Gap $900.00 totaling $7,269.00. I didn't give my consent for this. I emailed Mr. Sanchez, his response was he told me he was going to buy my rate down & he explained these products to me. He said he didn't give the bill of sale that day because his printer was broken, but he printed out paperwork when I was sitting there the day before I saw him printing. Mr. Sanchez NEVER asked me if I wanted those products let alone tell me how much they would cost. I asked Tommy about this he didn't respond. I emailed 6 people at Autobarn, I was put in touch w/Vivien Fisher I explained what happened, she canceled 2 products, Gap & Vehicle Service contract, but said she’ll speak w/Tommy about the other 2, I asked her to follow-up, I never heard from her again. 7.23.24 I asked Brady Spiehler to remove the remaining 2 products, his response was this will be last communication w/anyone at Autobarn. Same day I emailed Christine asking for Bank of America phone no. because I hadn't rec'd anything from them yet & my note was due 8.3. She gave me their no. 7.24 I called & set up my acct. I saw note due was over $1,000, I asked why, rep said my note was due 7.19. I said no my note is due 8.3. I was transferred to another dept & found out dealer supplied wrong apt. no. & that's why I hadn't rec'd my package. I told her my BOS has 8.3 due date, she said on their end it’s 7.19. She sent my issue to the Escalation dept to find out what’s going on. 7.25 they called I was told they have the BOS w/my electronic signature w/due date 7.19, I informed rep my BOS has 8.3 due date w/no signatures. I sent rep the BOS Elias sent me almost a month after I purchased car, we reviewed & realized we had different BOS’s. I informed Escalation dept I was a victim of fraud and when Elias had me click on that tablet is when he scammed me, that’s how he was able to add those products without my knowledge or

After extensive research on the car that was best fit for me, I landed at Mazda of Evanston. They have a huge selection of used vehicles which allowed me to find the best fit for me, a CX-5. Ivan was super helpful and didn't put any pressure on me to buy from him immediately. I felt comfortable and confident in my choice and Ivan definitely helped! The only downside was the whole process took an extended period of time; I was there for six hours before I was able to drive my car home. I was told that the car was going to be detailed before it would be mine and although it looked like it had been vacuumed, it wasn't done thoroughly. If you are looking for a new or used Mazda, this is the place and Ivan is your guy!

I was looking for a new car to use for work as I’ll be visiting clients more often. I wanted a car that would have good presence and yet not be perceived as luxurious. So I went with the new CX-5 and so far the car has not disappointed.
Jason was very helpful with the buying experience. He wasn’t pushy at all—I even wondered if he wanted my business. I had an easy buying process and he had the car ready in no time (I had gone the day before to scout my options).
Chris was also super helpful informing me about the extra warranty options. I went with a good plan, although I’m sure the Mazda will do great.
All in all, great buying experience with these folks.

I recently purchased a Mazda CX-30 from Mazda Evanston, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Our sales representative, Chris Allegretti, was fantastic throughout the entire process. He was very attentive and worked hard to ensure we got the best deal possible. Also, Chris was extremely knowledgeable about the car, providing detailed explanations and answering all of our questions during the test drive, which was one of the reasons why I got Mazda. His professionalism and genuine customer care made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend Mazda Evanston and especially Chris Allegretti for anyone interested in purchasing a new or pre-owned vehicles.
