2211 Oakton St, Evanston“Customer service is super friendly.
First timer got an Italian and turkey subs. The guy that made the subs was nice, funny and helpful, so was the cashier. Grocery items to choose from.
Subs were tasty however the bread was tough for my liking. And the turkey sub could’ve had more meat.
I didn’t take a picture of it, but below is the Italian sub (plated at home).
I think a softer bread would’ve made the subs better.
Thanks”
“Nice new look at most locations. Prices are very competitive. Lots of selections. Lots of parking. Snacks and veggies are better priced than most of the other big supermarkets. Local grocery store.”
“George's store is a store like all stores, it has everything one wants, but it also has things like sweets, home work, or the owner of the store does it, and the most important thing is that they get the same important taste from everything that is clean, and the prices I made are compared to you, the store has lower prices, and dealing with customers is what makes one come back to buy. Hopefully, good luck, Lord”
“Overall Thoughts: Carnicerias Guanajuato is a nice Mexican grocery store in the Wicker area with a little restaurant tucked in the back. It carries a solid range of Mexican staples, brands, snacks, and ingredients, and the staff are really kind and friendly. The restaurant is counter-serve with a well-sized seating area, and had a wide variety of meat options, from ox tongue tacos to beef jerky tortas to chorizo burritos. (However, the vegetarian options were a bit lacking in creativity / depth). By the time I went at ~6:30pm though, they were out of both ox tongue and beef jerky, so I’ll have to go earlier next time to try those. The prices are reasonable and affordable in both the restaurant and store, and you can use either cash or card.Food I tried:- Lomo Encebollado Torta (4/5): The torta bread was a little stale / not super fresh, but the meat was good and flavorful. Especially for the price (<$8), it was a very solid meal.—Price (relative to peers): 4.6/5Ambience: 4.4/5Service: 4.8/5Overall Value: 4.4/5”
“Absolutely great family grocery store. Well stocked, super clean and knowledgeable staff. They have such a diverse line of healthy products at a good prices too! I found some awesome new brands and items I never saw before and they were awesome due to a recommendation from their staff. Also have a wide variety of fresh produce and a great sushi and bakery section. If you need some pre-made fresh meals they have coolers of them and such a variation with a good portion for reasonable prices. Love their dairy selection and also snacks for school if you have food restriction guidelines. They also send out an email with weekly specials. We don't buy meat and fish from them because we only eat organic grass-fed to finish meats and wild caught which we get elsewhere. Wonderful store.”

2195 Willow Rd, Glenview“We are so impressed with the quality of every item we've bought here, including meats, produce, breads, and heat and serve meals. Every week we discover a new favorite, and the store is very clean and well-organized. I also remember that they actively support local food pantries. Well worth shopping here!”

“So happy we stumbled upon this little spot! It’s a grocery store with a restaurant that serves amazing tacos! The Asada Tacos were my fave! Some of the best I’ve had in the while ???”
“I love these guys! Been shopping here for years...they help you out if you need something..theyve even given me jump ti my car when bsttery died..Always friendly funny and just all around great service..ive been low on cash and ive been able to bring the rest of what I owe later on..this is one those great corner family orientated gricery stores...I hope they stay a very very very very long time...love them!!!”
“Cermak was my first choice for many years for all my groceries but unfortunately, it’s not what it’s used to be. The produce quality keeps getting lower while I keep getting less for the price. They store greens on piles of ice which just ruins them. Other produce, especially avocados, just goes bad in a matter of days and generally lacks flavor. If i feel like dropping that much cash, I’d just go to whole foods and get much better quality for those price tags.Otherwise, it’s a clean and organized store with great staff.”
“Great resource for hard to find snacks or basic Asian culinary staples. If you are a newbie and seeking to experiment... take a moment to make a list -- and include both Vietnamese and Chinese names for items such as herbs or veggies. Don't forget the seaweed-wrapped pretzels or the easy to prepare frozen dumplings. Also -- Ponzu is as little as 1/3 the cost of Whole Foods.”

1753 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago“My go-to grocery store for all the basics. I love that special isle. Returns are easy. It's difficult to purchase things elsewhere when I know Aldi has a better price. Do they have everything? No. But they have enough to make me keep coming back for all my core grocery shopping needs. New deals every Wednesday!”

201 W Division St, Chicago“I come to this location on a regular basis and it's become my preferred Aldi since it opened. Overall satisfied, but what is with the one shelf stocking employee that loves to excessively honk a horn as he wheels stock around, even when no customers are in his way? I often hear him beeping at essentially nobody all over an otherwise very quiet store.”
“Early in the week, amazing prices on fruit and veg. The ready to eat food is priced best on Monday and Tuesday. Returns to full price other days. Wide selection of products. There is not any competition for Sarah's Tent in the area. Store is clean and bright. Fresh pita is delicious.”

“God willing, good treatment, reasonable prices, and above all, meat and chicken are halalBut if there was delivery to Chicago Downtown and South Chicago, it would continue”
“I got tacos and burritos here and they were really good. The staff are a bit hard to understand if you don't speak spanish but it doesn't significantly impede getting what you want. They are nice as well.”
“Adrian`s Foods Market is a friendly, family-owned store with great prices and quality items. It`s a best place for anyone looking to save money without sacrificing quality.”
“I approached the meat counter. They could tell I knew no spanish. " How can I help you ? Came from a young Hispanic man. I just pointed and said 2 lbs. That's what I got. I mean. He totally ignored the numbers being called out to help me ! Everyone was very nice even the cashier. I spent nearly 2 hours just roaming around this tiny store. Really, it's not very big. Well stocked and diverse. Chinese items like noodles. I had a fun time there.”
“love them so much! i pop in multiple times a week for something , they have a little bit of everything. and the people working are so lovely and kind and friendly!”
“Jolly B's , for a limited time has une pies as well as the famous peach pie. and all my Asian shopping needs in one place, If you haven't tried jolly B's chicken, a must try for crispy, never burnt or oily. Stop in for a taste of the phillipines version of McDonald's with a twist. Lots of phillipines street food to purchase inside as well as fresh produce and meat. If you're in the area stop in and see for yourself.”

4703 N Harlem Ave, Harwood Heights“Optimal.I'm used to going to Aldi even in Europe.I found it here and it is always convenient for the prices and quality. You won't find all the products you need but you will find average quality at prices accessible to everyone. In this area I believe it is the best between price/quality”
“I’m so excited after my friends told me about this place. Visited last Sunday and never disappointed! Yes there are more like Asian stuffs but I’m okay with it. The price is good, the product line is various. They have a lot of discounts and promotions going on now. The place is clean, cashiers are friendly and helpful. Recommend!”
“Good selection, but not always consistent in the products you can find week to week. Always seems to be lacking products. Quality of products is good. Good prices. Customer service is OK.”
