Great pricing! very fast service and exceptional customer services as well.. I got my motorcycle vest patches done here and it was exceptionally fast and everyone there was extremely polite. I recommend to everyone to go there for any tailoring and cleaning. The best cleaners in Evanston hands down !

This place is very expensive & they always do subpar work. I got a swimsuit clasp replaced, and they used plastic--looks cheap & is clearly not the same as the metal one that was broken. They replaced a zipper with one that is not the same color as the zipper track. I also got the sleeves of a dress altered & it doesn't look right. All was expensive, none up to snuff. Also, they're slow. Took 1.5 weeks for 3 items.

Don’t ever go here they will mess up your cloth. They left old blood on my sweatshirt and a bleach stain and created holes all on my sweatshirt. The owner said he will not reimburse me.

Why can't I find a decent dry cleaner in this town?
Soapies does a good enough job (though they did accidentally give me someone else's shirt the first time I went to them, then proceeded to harass me about it while I was out of town. Told them I was out of town and couldn't help them for a week, but still got more than daily phone calls harassing me about returning the shirt).
I'm just sick of their prices. I just paid $75 for them to dry clean 2 pants and 5 shirts. More than $10 an item?! It's ridiculous. I won't be back.

Dropped in because of wardrobe malfunction and boy am I glad I did! The seamstress did quick fix of this button on my wool coat. Will be coming back for sure.

The worst experience. I brought almost new Gucci pans with a very fresh stains. No work has been traced at all, all of the stains were still there after the collection. One of the detail has been missing too.Rude staff and horrible service. Highly disappointed.

They destroyed my shearling and mink coat - completely cut off the mink collar, claimed it was destroyed in cleaning and offered to replace it with cheap faux fur fabric. Which is ridiculous. It is a vintage coat and it will cost me hundreds of dollars to replace the collar. I am taking them to court and suing for damages. This place was around for years but it is under new ownership and they do not care about their clientele, they lie and rip you off. Never ever trust them with anything.

This place destroyed my genuine fur coat. If I could give negative stars I would. They cut off my genuine mink collar and claimed it was destroyed by cleaning. Then they offered to replace it with cheap velour fabric. This is unacceptable and it will cost me a lot to repair. I am taking them to court and suing them.

I found a pink kilt at a thrift store and couldn’t even tell you where the original rips were in the hem after getting it fixed up and tailored by Soapie’s.If you bring in your own measurements, she will trust your word for it, so make sure you are vocal about what exactly you want. They added a small hook to make the kilt more functional as a skirt and I kept it long to honor the original kilt design and their dry cleaning got rid of any stains I had noticed previously.Beautiful work!!

I haven't had anything tailored but I have had them repair a wool/cashmere sweaters, blouses and have dry cleaned a couple items. Pricing is straight forward, quality work and fairly quick turnaround.
