Called for a quick tow nearby. They said they would be right there and were on their way. 30 minutes later, nothing, no call, no answer at the business. When I finally reached them, they were very rude. Ended up getting a tow from another place much more quickly for 35% less.

Towed from a parking lot that had ZERO visible signs about whose it was. Checked for signs (one was blocked by a company truck, lol), parked, came back an hour later and my car was gone. Not even just that, but my car is obviously damaged from where it was hooked and is grinding. Horrible pickup experience, and totally unclear if their tows can be contested. Feel free to contact me North Shore Towing but y’all were less than a 1-star experience!

Sat waiting for 2 hours. Said they would call me when someone was on their way. Never received a call from them. They said the driver called me but because I didn’t answer they moved on. The dispatcher never tried to reach me to let me know they were trying to reach me. No concern for my wellbeing as I sat in my freezing car for 2 hours waiting for their arrival. I’ll never call them again and you’d be better off trying a company that actually follows through with their promises.

If I was able to give zero stars I would. This blood sucking company is literally the scum of the earth. Each day the employees wake up and think who can I screw over today am make their life miserable. I have never had a job where I did not have a positive impact in a person's life every day I went to work. As a career 33 year veteran of the fire service not one day did I go to work with the intention of screwing other humans. Karma has it's day and I wish that upon every one of you driving those trucks. I would cry if I work up everyday and saw half of all my reviews were horrible. My advise is go back to school and get you're GED and get a real job where you don't have to make others lives miserable.

Awesome service. Called on morning of New Years Day. Car wouldn’t start. Needed to tow it to Toyota for repairs. Jerry showed up about fifteen minutes after my call. Gave me a ride to the Toyota place. Showed me where the key drop was. Excellent service. Very professional.

Called for a tow for my tool box. Drivers were nice but shrugged and said "never moved a tool box before" so I had to explain it. Decided to throw a strap across the top despite my disagreement and completely creased the top of my $4000 hutch. $430 to go 17 miles and get a dented box

One car parked in an empty lot for a short time. North Shore tows your car away. Completely heartless and disgusting.

I give them 3 stars and its because of the man who was driving the flatbed. I was at North shore beach and drove onto the sand not that far into it because i knew i had a possibility of getting stuck. I Spoke to 3 different people who have previously got stuck in the sand at that exact same beach who saw i was stuck and the first man told me to call North Shore Tow, so i did. The dispatcher was great helped us out worked with us and sent someone to us. He came with a long flatbed that could fit 2 cars for sure, got out the flatbed and didn't come to the car he proceeds to immediately take pictures. He goes back in the flatbed for about 2 minutes finally he comes out and the first thing he said when i open my window is he can't do anything for me and that i was someone who called the night before. I never called the night before my first time getting stuck in the sand was October 15th at around 2:40 am because i called them at 3:16 am. We go back and forth and he continues to tell me he cant do anything call someone else good luck. I roll my window up he leaves and i was stuck for another 8 hours when i do finally get another tow company to come he comes in 30 minutes and takes 10 minutes to get me out so i know North shore beach could've too. The dispatcher was great but y'all need truckers who actually care about peoples life's out here i could've got killed, robbed. Anything could've happened to me.

Worst to do business with, have zero manners. Thanks God, I am in US. After going there I realized that they have zero empathy.

If I could give 0 stars I would.I advise that if you ever get into an accident, AUTOMATICALLY call your OWN towing company (do your research).North Shore towing is contracted with Evanston PD and are the default towing company. You’d think because of this they would be professional and helpful to those who just went through a traumatic event.NO…Immediately after my accident, I had called North Shore towing to see if I could have my own personal towing company come and release the car, same day. They informed me that I had to go into their Evanston location to release the car and that they were open till 10 PM to do so. When I arrive at the Evanston location, they told me that I was unable to release my car because, “they were only able to release cars from 7 AM to 4 PM”, though on the phone they informed me they would be open and to “come right in, we’re here till 10”but when I arrived I was unable to release my car and was told to come back the next morning at 7 AM. They scanned my ID, made me sign paperwork… and took my ID..(never gave it back till the next day and didn’t even mention that they kept it, just put it on their counter after I was finished with picking up my car again without any communication).I came back next morning, mind you, I don’t live locally to Evanston. When I arrived, there was no one in the office and I had to call their landline to get someone to come in.When someone finally arrived they said they were open from 8 AM to 4 PM.Interesting, considering I was told otherwise the day before. This is why I arrived at the on time, with my own personal towing guy who I was paying for his time. When it was time to pay there was zero communication coming from the attendant. I was not told that I was paying at that moment, charge amount, nothing. I had no idea what was even going on. I was demanded to hand over my card and license(I didn’t have my license BECAUSE THEY HAD IT ALL ALONG and they didn’t even know it till they had to scan other paperwork so my father gave them his). When the man returned, he had an invoice detailing I paid for two days of lodging for my vehicle. This really upset me because I was there the day prior, ready to pick up my car because of the communication I was given then sent home to come the next day, and now I am being penalized for their mistakes and lack of/ improper communication.Eventually, I spoke to someone in the office name Courtney at their Glenview location and she reimbursed me for that extra day.All this being said, how unfortunate that a company of “high” caliber can’t communicate and deal with a customer properly. I recommend you stay clear and always have a towing company ready to go in case of emergency.

Eddie is a great soul and a great human. His behavior and approach towards what he does is what sets him apart from other tow truck drivers. He made me feel safe right from when I spoke to him on the phone. He made sure my safety was his priority before even towing my car on the highway. Protect Eddie at all cost. He towed my car from Northbrooks Illinois to Milwuakee -IsmaelService: Car towing

Obviously getting your car towed sucks but it's not their fault. But they make getting your car out super easy and they're actually really nice there unlike other tow yards.
