I am on a roll later. I am handicapped. I have no nose so I am physically deformed also carrying a splint on my right hand due to a fall and a broken bone which is permanent. I arrived at Murphy's at the same time as another young lady who decided to open the door for me. Silly because I can open my own doors Im rather talented at that lately... She goes to look for shoes I go to look for shoes. I feel like two men's shoes to ask if they have size 15 e as I'm getting new splints for my legs because I'm handicapped and the new ones are bigger because my health is declining as are my feet getting wider and more sore every day. There's a store clerk to my left helping a lady with sneakers no big deal cool I'm happy for her. I continue to look at the small selection of shoes I noticed the prices are cheap... I shop at Alamo I'm used to spending money... This pair of shoes I am selecting are a gift from my best friend because she knows I have no money at the moment and she wants to help me out by buying me a pair of shoes for my new splints due a week. I select two pair to ask if they have them in 15E men's as that is my size now with the splints because I am handicapped. I take my roll later I back it up and I sit down with the two pair of shoes waiting for help.

Murphy's service is like service used to be. They know their stuff. The salesman (I forgot his name) asked a couple of questions and came back with a couple of styles. One was very close to what I like, but not perfect. He went in the back of the shop and came back with a couple more to try on. The first one was the one. They don't have a large selection, which I wasn't looking for. All I wanted was a good fit and a shoe for my type of workout. As for price I went to Zappos and the shoes were the same price and I got great service. Thanks

I want the salesman seem to really know what they are doing. They spend a lot of time with you and watch how you walk and look at the shape of your feet so that they can get the right shoe.

I’m new to the Evanston area and needed a new pair of running shoes as the ones I was running in were giving me blisters. Everyone at the store was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I left with a new pair of extremely comfortable shoes, and a better knowledge of my running gait. If you’re looking for a great pair of walking/running/hiking/any new pair of shoes this is the place to go hands down

I took my daughter to get shoes for cross country and had a great experience! The gentleman who helped us was very knowledgeable and explained what type of shoes she needed based on her gait. He offered several options and made sure that the ones she chose were comfortable and fit well.

The men who work here are incredibly knowledgeable about the different kinds of shoes. Incredibly nice and very patient. I have bought shoes from here for a few years and I always find a pair that I love that lasts me for a year or two. When I need a new pair I always go back to Murphy's Fit because I know these men will help me find my next perfect pair of shoes. I highly recommend Murphy's Fit for anyone who is looking for the best pair of shoes. You won't be disappointed. You will leave very satisfied and will want to come back to get another pair of shoes. The shoes I bought were great fit and a competitive price...but the customer service was less than stellar. The clerk made a loud, insensitive remark about my "bunions" in the midst of a crowded store with 3-4 waiting customers. It was in response to my telling him I didn't like the design of a particular shoe. He was rude. I won't return to the location.

I don't run but I walk a lot and in my advancing years decided to investigate shoes that may be actually designed for walking rather than whatever is sitting near the door. Wandered into Murphy's and, honestly, I don't know why anyone even remotely in the area buying walking or running shoes goes anywhere else. I got a full evaluation of my gait and a pair of shoes that instantly felt better than anything else that has ever been on my feet. Promptly walked a couple of miles at my usual quick pace and could feel the difference. Now committed to being a regular customer.
