We can’t recommend Martin Uthe highly enough! As first-time home buyers, we relied on him extensively. Throughout the process, Martin remained attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and reassuring.
He patiently explained the home-buying process.
He sent appropriate property listings and quickly arranged for us to visit the properties we wished to see.
He answered all of our questions and provided information/answers to questions we never thought to ask.
A seasoned real estate agent, Martin anticipated issues that might arise – particularly in this seller’s market marked by high interest rates - and made excellent recommendations.
At many points in the process, Martin shared with us the names of trusted professionals in the business. These contacts have proved to be invaluable.
With Martin’s undeniable expertise and great support team – e.g. loan officer, real estate attorney – we purchased our dream home in less than a month, start to finish! We absolutely could not have done this without Martin!

Great realtor! Martin recently sold my mother’s house for me. He was wonderful to work with. The property needed a lot of work and he rolled up his sleeves and went to work helping me. He coordinated contractors, movers, and consignment people which was WAY above and beyond what an average, even a great, realtor would do. He understood that this was difficult for me and he was extremely patient. I felt like he really knew what the market was like and what it wanted and how I could get the best price. I highly recommend him for his knowledge, his kind and patient demeanor, his willingness to take the time to explain things, and his true joy in helping people with what is the next chapter in their lives.

Martin went above and beyond to help me find the right place for me. He listen and knew exactly what I was looking for. Anytime I call or text about a place he was quick to response back. I feel his quick efficient is why I was able to get my place sooner than what I anticipated. He is a good listener, empathetic and genuinely cares. I highly recommend him. Great communicator and responsive to our needs. Martin is the antithesis of most real estate agents. He asked what we wanted to do and then worked with us to get it done. We met two years ago and he didn't chase or pressure to get us to the market. He knew we needed to be in the right head space.He's not aggressive or pushy, but he's clever and an active listener. I appreciated him specifically, as I wasn't planning to use his company at all - that's how much he came across as the right fit for us. No matter where he works, Martin will be our agent and I'm recommending him to everyone I know.

We met Martin a few years ago when we were planning to move to Chicago and rent. He showed us a ton of great options (all over video as we were in a different state), and ultimately found us a great place in a beautiful neighborhood. He was patient and generous with his time, and helped us feel comfortable with the fully remote apartment search.Of course, when we were looking to buy, we called him again! Our case was a little unusual as we had something very specific in mind and found it serendipitously on Zillow one day. Martin lent his expertise to help us assess whether it was a good value, and got things in motion right away. He made the whole process quick and smooth, and was always responsive, detail oriented and reassuring. We wholeheartedly recommend Martin!

Exceeded all expectations. Martin went above and beyond to help with the sale of my home. He was confident it would sell quick and I was skeptical but we had multiple offers in under a week! Working with Martin was a great pleasure. I was exceedingly impressed with his resourcefulness, availability, and expertise in the field. He was able to facilitate several small renovations and the entire sale of the house remotely as I was located out of state for a vast majority of the time. Finding an agent that was trustworthy, honest, and hands-on was a priority and Martin fulfilled those benchmarks. Highly likely to recommendMartin helped out on the sale of my single family home in Evanston 5 years ago, so I went back to him to represent me when I wanted to sell my 2-flat in Evanston. He immediately took up the assignment and within a day had a prospective buyer. We had an offer within a week and he successfully negotiated acceptable terms. The deal closed last week, which was 3 months after first listing it. I was delighted with Martin's professionalism and expertise. I am pleased to recommend him to anyone in the area.

Martin is a fantastic agent and I would highly recommend him without hesitation. He helped us buy our first home (a house in Wilmette). He was very efficient, helpful, professional, and accessible throughout the process. This was our first home purchase. Martin was exceptionally patient and willing to answer all our questions, and accommodate and discuss all our concerns throughout. We toured many places over a period of several months, as our understanding of the type of place we needed kept evolving, and I really appreciated Martin's thoughtfulness and patience, as he constantly tried to understand, anticipate, and help us find places that we would like.
