So my plumber accidentally spilled a LONG line of hydraulic fluid from his 'roto rooter' all the way down my front sidewalk, leaving a horrific stain. I stopped by this very busy store to inquire as to how to possibly mitigate the situation, and I picked the right place! Although everyone around me was spending hundreds of dollars on materials, Francisco and Rick took the time to help allay my fears of permanent scarring, and provided me with a 'common man's' explanation of what to use, how and why it would work, as well as how to apply. Turns out Challenger is the ultimate emulsifier for hydraulic fluid, and it saved the day (and years of staring at 'ugly'). Thank you so much fellas for taking the time (while very busy, I must add) to educate me and set me up for success! When I need paint, etc. in the future, I am heading straight to JC Licht in Evanston.

If you are in need of paint and/or painting supplies do yourself a favor and stop by the JC Licht Benjamin Moore Paint and Decor store on Green Bay Rd. in Evanston. Francisco and Richard were friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable.

Needed to stain my porch steps. Both Francisco & Rick @ the Evanston store were terrific. They told me exactly what to do and advised me in purchasing the right products. Furthermore, they exceeded my expectations in customer service. JC Licht needs to give them a big bonus!

Everyone at JC Licht in Evanston is extremely helpful and knowledgeable in all areas. Specifically, store manager Francisco and assistant manager Antonio have been great to work with on our Mural Projects. And Richard has helped us immensely with various technical questions we have had. Can’t recommend them more!

I’ve been coming to EPCO known as JC Licht for over 30 years and I’ve ve seen alot of associates come and Go but Francisco has ALWAYS been the consistent, From power washers,Brushes,getting products transferred to store he has always went above and beyond to help me whenever needed,Certain people can’t be duplicated nor replaced ,Francisco is ASSET to the company and just wanted to give him his flowers NOW

I wish I'd known about Eileen the design consultant earlier, It would have saved me a lot of time. It took her all of 15-20 minutes to totally nail the correct color. She is super knowledgeable and a breeze to work with!

It's a refreshing experience to visit a store that for the most part caters to professional and/or experienced painters and receive warm greetings and excellent advice, on repeated visits. I was helped at the desk by two members of the Epco/J.C. Licht team in Evanston and both were well-informed, listened to what I was trying to do, and helped me find the right supplies. In at least two cases, the guys at the desk jumped up and got the product for me. Excellent attitude, great work ethic and great customer service. Highly recommend. (P.S. I now drive up from Chicago when I need stuff.)
