This is a real vet that really cares that has wonderful people working there that loves animals. Genuine and clean and they take great care of our cats. I love Fox Animal Hospital!

I just recently moved to Evanston and needed to find a vet for my two newly adopted dogs. I had my first appointment with Fox Animal Hospital this week and they were wonderful. Very professional and welcoming. My interaction with their front desk when I first made the appointment was great. She was knowledgeable and helpful. I think my pups will be in good hands.

This is such a friendly place that even my cats feel at home there — well, more than they have at previous vets' offices. Dr. Lyons and Dr. Lempka have a magic touch and ooze competence.

5 stars! Fox Animal Hosptial has been excellent. The team is incredibly responsive, whether that’s via phone, email, or helping us get a last minute appointment. Everyone here is very professional and friendly.

NEVER AGAIN will I ever bring my dearly loved pet to this practice. Been taking my two dogs here for over a year and I I had an asap appointment for my chihuahua who arrived in good condition and left absolutely miserable! I asked the tech for something to ease her pain and calm her down while I was pushed out the door and I got no answers! I drove home with a crying, shaking, in pain dog on my lap, called the office mid-trip and was on hold until I arrived home, had to turn around to take her back for a shot to give her relief over an inflamed vulva. Dr. Lempke saw her for five minutes and didn't come back into the treatment room to give me any information about what was going on with her and was not interested in answering any of my questions about what was wrong with her, I know NOTHING about her care and treatment, got no discharge instructions, NOTHING! I was sent home with a steroid and an antibiotic and a miserable little dog. SHAME ON YOU! $200 for totally crappy care! I have two beloved dogs and they are done at this establishment.

Dr. Lempka and her staff were so gentle with my two scaredy cats. I felt like they all cared about my pets and were very knowledgeable. My first visit and I plan to use them as long as I have pets!

The staff have gone above and beyond for me and my animals. I just moved to Evanston last year in 2023 and found them. They took on my three geriatric pets (2 cats, 1 dog). With 1 cat having renal disease and the other being diagnosed with cardiac disease not long after Fox started caring for them. In the haft a year that we have been going to Fox Animal Hospital I have felt welcome and always left fully informed of my pets care. Recently, 1 cat passed and I couldn't be more impressed with FAH and their staff as they cared for my cat and me during our final appointment. They were respectful of my last wishes as well. From the bottom of my heart, thank you FAH. I really believe your staff and vets love my animals as much as I do and I could not ask for more.

Dr. Hartzen and all other nurses and staff I’ve encountered are patient, kind, and skilled with my canine bestie who turns into a terrified terrorist at the office door. They have make both of us as comfortable as possible and continue to inspire confidence in their medical knowledge and level care for the pets they treat.

We recently switched vets and I picked Fox because they were close. I was charmed meeting our new friendly doctor and his nurse! So happy. Both dogs were happy too :-)
