I cannot say enough words to describe how amazing this school is. My 4 year old started his first year here and has grown leaps and bounds since the beginning of the school year. I love their nature based approach which lets the kids explore and discover the outdoors in their awesome fenced in playscape. Their philosophy of promoting independence, yet providing comfort and support is beautiful, and exactly what I searched for in a preschool. All the teachers and Directors at Covenant have been instrumental in my son's physical and emotional growth. The school also offers so many opportunities for parent involvement and really fosters an environment for kids to learn essential skills, all while having so much fun!

We are finishing up our 2nd year at CNS and couldn’t imagine a better preschool for our children. Our son has made so many new friends and looks forward to seeing his teachers every day. This year he has especially loved the enrichment classes (yoga, dance, messy art) that allow him to stay at school 1.5 hours longer! We love that each classroom spends time in the outdoor play scape each day and that there is an indoor playgroundfor rainy days! As a family that is newer to the area, we have liked getting to know other parents at the many family events.

I LOVE Covenant! I am a teacher at the school and I am surrounded by such an amazing group of co-workers(who have become my very close friends) and feel very supported every day! I walk in everyday with so many smiles on people’s faces and feel so welcome! The community is strong and very supportive of each other. The teachers go above and beyond! I highly recommend this school!!!

Great preschool experience! Teachers are committed to helping each child learn and grow - e.g., social skills, self-help skills, and early math/literacy. They have gone the extra mile to help our child overcome challenges, including meeting via zoom in the evening to touch base with us on how things are going in the classroom. Wonderful facilities indoor and outside so children get to engage in lots of activities. Staff and teachers work hard to build community.

My family continues to choose Covenant for our kids because it's such a warm, nurturing and welcoming place that they love to attend. CNS provides great foundation of learning! Teachers are wonderful, curriculum is thoughtful, and it has a great parent community. Highly recommend to all families!

We love this school! Great community environment and play-based curriculum with an emphasis on nature. We have also participated in the summer camp and loved the program. Very convenient location, caring staff, and wonderful families!

This preschool encompasses everything a preschool should. The focus is on play and being outside and fosters a real sense of community among parents and kids. The teachers and staff are loving and enthusiastic.

This is our 5th year at Covenant. Our family LOVES this gem of a school! Every year is better than the last. Though a part-time program, they offer options to extend the day from 8:30am until 2pm, if needed. The staff is extremely caring, nurturing and really work hard to create a great learning environment for children. The nature-focused program has impacted our entire family in countless ways. We have 2 elementary-aged kids that both successfully transitioned to kindergarten and beyond. The school's focus on social and emotional growth prepared my children to do well both inside and outside the classroom. And if you need more reasons to check this school out, the school community is filled with tons of wonderful families. We have made many great friendships here. Definitely consider this preschool program for your child!

Covenant is the neighborhood nursery school that you've been dreaming about! It's teachers and staff are amazing. They are committed to nurturing the whole child and helped both my daughters reach their full potential. At Covenant, my kids became problem solvers, learned how to work with others and developed a love of learning. The teachers are committed to outdoor and cultural education. There are also lots of opportunities for enrichments after the normal day. My daughters' favorites were yoga, Spanish and dance. The community of parents are very supportive and there are lots of opportunities to get to know each other with and without kids. The building is new and parking is super easy. Check this school out! It has been a huge blessing for our family.

What a wonderful preschool! Our son was in Covenant's multi-age classroom last year and we loved it so much we signed both of our kids up for their summer camp. Our youngest just started for the 2016/2017 school year and is so happy to follow in her brother's footsteps. I love the nature-focused learning and the fact that the kids get such hands on experience outside in the "nature-scape" learning how to engage with their environment & with each other. They have a lot of low-pressure opportunities to meet other parents inside and outside of the classroom, which we've enjoyed. A big bonus: it's awesome (and rare in Evanston) to have such accessible parking right in front of the school. Can't say enough great things about this intimate, down-to-earth preschool community!

Play based preschool is fantastic! Love the community and teachers are very knowledgeable and focused on social and emotional development. We have been a part of Covenant for 3 years and they did an amazing job of getting my preschooler ready for Kindergarten.
