This review is LONG overdue. I have had the honor of knowing Christopher and Villi for many years. I consider both of them as my friend. The first time I stepped into Christopher’s shop I fell in love with his designs and creativity. His knowledge is extensive and he always has interesting facts and stories about his pieces. I’ve never felt rushed and if you’re looking for something that is unique or a one of a kind piece look no further. Chris takes the time to listen to you and will guide you through the process ensuring you’ll get something that will absolutely delight you. Chris and Villi take their craft seriously and you will feel as though you are their most special client. We worked with Christopher to design my engagement ring and had a wonderful experience and a beautiful result. I unfortunately damaged my ring about 6 months after my engagement, and returned for repairs with the help of the AMAZING Priscilla! She was incredibly dedicated to the entire process including sourcing a diamond, repairing the ring, and ensuring a great quality result. Thank you, Priscilla and Christopher!

I am absolutely in love with my custom designed engagement ring Christopher created for me! He took in consideration every aspect of what I wanted in a ring and incorporated it. The stunning ring gets tons of compliments on its unique design and I can't stop looking at it!!

Save your time and just come here first. An absolutely flawless custom design experience. Priscilla, Villi, Sergey, and the entire team were a pleasure to meet and work with. We not only discussed my specific design, but the nuances of jewelry design as a whole. Best practices, gemstone grading, the limits of working with precious metals, and so much more. I gained a lot of really practical knowledge and they were always happy to explain the deeper level of whatever topic we happened to be going thru. We hardly needed any edits to the designed piece moving thru the process because we truly just clicked so well on all of our goals with the design. I also was able to use the loupe to look at the stone and ring in detail - very cool! Oh, and, she said yes. :)

Working with Villi, one of the designers, was an excellent experience. We came with vague ideas for an engagement ring, which she helped us refine with some sketches. We worked with her on the custom design which was WAY more affordable than I had imagined. The final result is gorgeous and we're so happy with it.

Priscilla helped me design an absolutely beautiful ring for my fiancé, based on just a couple of idea photos. The service was excellent and communication throughout the process was very helpful as I'd never bought a diamond before (and didn't know anything about them). Everybody at the store was always kind and accommodating, cannot recommend enough for a first class experience.

I went to Christopher Duquet to have some repairs. I also traded in an old ring and had (2) rings made which I love. I found that not only were they friendly but the service and quality of my purchases is excellent. I will now use them for all of my Jewelry needs.

Christopher Duquet Fine Jewelry has performed three services for me, all to perfection.They repaired my pave wedding band which I had cut in half in order to get it off my finger! The result was flawless. The decorative cut on the inside was repaired beautifully.They removed a gorgeous diamond from my late beloved mother-in-law’s ring and elegantly re-designed it to look timeless. (And match my pave wedding band!)They repaired a favorite amber ring whose metal had become bent with wear and tear over time. Perfection.I will continue to trust them with my most cherished possessions. They listen, give honest advice, and design elegant pieces.

Our family inherited an old engagement ring and necklace. Christopher helped us design a new ring set. He sent us some CAD representations of the pieces. We went in for a fitting. The rings were ready! He took the time to answer all our questions and to educate us. We returned to have him make a pair of earrings for my daughter. We returned again to have him appraise my mother’s jewelry. We will be back again to redesign sentimental pieces into something that better suits our style in the future. My husband and I bought our wedding rings here 22 years ago. I always got compliments on my ring, and still love it. I had occasion to ask Christopher to make me another ring as I’d lost oneI’d been wearing for a long time. He asked me questions, showed me some ideas and I chose the one I liked best. It’s beautiful and very sentimental. I recommend him for any jewelry and so appreciate the quality and personal service.

Christopher Duquet and his team create beautiful and elegant jewelry. I've purchased a number of pieces there over the years, especially earrings, that I love to wear. My husband and I recently for the first time worked with them to create a personalized piece (a ring) using a family diamond. The designer we worked with, Priscilla, was both talented and personable, brainstorming ideas with us and then creating designs which we refined together. The whole process was a lot of fun - just a great experience, and the result is beautiful and unique! We live in downtown Chicago on the Gold Coast - where there are many jewelry store options. I would never think of going anywhere else for jewelry than Christopher Duquet. This is really a special and outstanding place!

I had such an amazing experience with Chirstopher Duquet Fine Jewelry. Villi was very responsive throughout the whole process and had my best interest at heart. She gave me style design options after the initial ideation phase as well as a great diamond selection once she knew my preferences. The process was seamless and the ring turned out phenomenal! What started with a search for something special turned into an exceptional experience of his creativity, professionalism, and service. Could NOT have been happier with the services provided by Cordelia and the rest of the Christopher Duquet team. I came in mid-2020 to have an engagement ring custom designed using family heirloom jewelry from when my grandmother passed away when I was a kid. This had always been a dream of mine to be able to use her jewelry for my future wife to make what she had into a modern vintage inspired piece.She made an absolute gorgeous setting for the engagement ring using my two largest diamonds with an alternative birthstone for my wife’s birth month (September) as the centerpiece as she didn’t want a diamond as the main focal point.When we first designed the engagement ring we did a rough plan for the wedding band, with the same concept of using my grandmothers diamonds and rubies, which was her birthstone, and our wedding month was July. Once the time came to fully design the wedding band, again I/we couldn’t have been happier with what Cordelia had made for my wife.If you’re looking for a custom jeweler that can do literally anything, this is the place. I was so happy with the time, care, and attention to the little details we wanted. I again couldn’t be happier and don’t think I could have chosen a better place to design her rings using antique precious gems. We will certainly continue to use them in the future and strong suggest you do as well
