Staff needs to work on their customer service skills. You can get a point across without having an attitude.
Clearly the whites don’t like colored people here.
For reference. It’s Halloween. People have face painting and masks on. My husband has a motorcycle head cover on (not covering his face) and as soon as we walked in this white woman said he couldn’t have it on.
Then the fairy white boy at the register wouldn’t sell us anything because I didn’t have my ID. Even though I wasn’t the one buying anything and I wasn’t the one carrying any liquor. Clearly you need better training. I’d be mad if I had to work on Halloween too I guess. You didn’t ask both people for ID at the other registers.

First time at this location and was surprised by the size of the store. It's much larger than is perceived from the outside. Staff was super helpfl; I expect that of Binny's, but good to confirm.

Really bad customer service received from the cashier named Ryan. He was very rude and had his smile ironically when I did comment about that. We made a purchase for $300 despite being treated super unprofessional. Won’t come back to this stores.

I heard 12 yr weller bourbon had been released on an allocated basis which means one per customer. I went in asked the guy who I assume was the manager if i could have a bottle as they never put them on the shelf they are always behind the counter. He said he had it but wouldnt give me a bottle. I was not trophy hunting down a bottle of bourbon i live in evanston and he decided he didn’t want to give up one of his precious bottles. I won’t ever buy from that store again.

Great location, great selection, and cashiers are always friendly. However, if you're a Black male, be prepared to have their Black security guard always, and I mean Always, either follow you around or seemingly only stand at the end of your line; when prior to he was nowhere to be found on the floor.
Interestingly enough, he feels it necessary to make comment or small to make his presence known to you, you know, just in case you didn't notice him before. But, I get it right, self-worth ,self-esteeem, and self-hatred is a monster to contend within one's nature. So I pray for this man and hope he can find God, happiness, love, and an increased amount of worthiness within.
