“I called EXSA Automotive because I noticed a coolant leak on my van, and they scheduled me for an appointment the next day. I dropped off my van in the early afternoon and it was fixed by the early evening. They explained the situation well and I was happy with the quality of their work. I expressed concerns of taking my van across the state on a 6 hour drive, and they cleared it to be safe.
I made it through my trip with no issues and I will definitely be going back to EXSA Automotive in the near future for further services on my van.”
“This shop was recommended to me by Warren’s Shell (also a great place) on Chicago Avenue in Evanston when they couldn’t remedy the problem. I have a 2018 Honda Fit with a nasty defect/design flaw wherein when it rains, water pools in the front passenger’s floor and the driver’s floor. I walked in and was greeted by Bill Sr. I described the problem and was asked to leave my car and I would be called with an estimate and diagnosis. I was promptly called and provided a very reasonable cost. I was also provided with an interim remedy to prevent this from happening again. I picked up my car and met Bill Jr. (cute). I am very pleased with the service I received . As I have to park outside underneath tree branches, this will occur again. However, I can minimize the frequency with the remedy provided. Great, friendly service that is well priced, great value.”

“The verify your vin did not work for me. It woukd only let me put in 6 characters. That led to my next gripe. Im not a huge fan of the "cancel your order if not contacted with vin confirmation within 24 hours." Shipping rates don't make sense. It goes up by dollar amount not the size of items. Therefore, when I ordered 10 bolts at $7ish a piece the shipping cost kept jumping. I will say that their price on parts is about 20% less than my local dealer that couldn't get the parts I needed. On the phone their customer service was excellent and fixed the vin issue. their shipping/tracking was fast and accurate. If needed I will definitely shop from them again.”
