Stephen and all the guys at Sam Leman are absolutely incredible to work with. I came in looking to test drive the new 2024 Trax, and walked out the door with exactly what I wanted. Stephen and Zach went above and beyond helping me with this dec, and not once did I feel pressured to buy or spend more money than I was looking to. They helped me find a car within my price range, and the Trax hit the nail on the head. If you are considering buying a new or used car, Sam Leman Chevy in Eureka is the place to go.

Josh was well informed about the Volt and answered all of our questions. We appreciated that we were treated with respect.

I would give a zero if I could. I called and made an appointment with Dan to come check out a used Jeep on their lot. I've been in search for that particular jeep and Had already looked at the carfax. I called on Jan. 11 and made an apt for the 14th. Dan called on the 14th and let me know that the roads were bad so we moved our apt. to the 16th. I called him 25 min ahead of time to let him know I was on my way. When I got there-he wasn't there. He had ran into town to the gas station (I believe). After waiting about 10 min. His manager took my license and let me take the car for a test drive while Dan was gone. When I returned Dan was there and we went into his office. He just sat there and didn't say anything so I said "I really liked the car but had a few questions." I asked him about a spot on the ceiling near the sun roof and noticed that it said "rental" in the carfax-so I wanted to know how long it was a rental. He said he wasn't sure about either but they mainly look for accidents on a carfax report. Then he asked ME if it had been in any accidents or if it said how long it was a rental!! I said that I wasn't sure. And then he asked me if while I was test driving it if the ceiling felt wet! That's when I started to get a little frustrated. I asked "have you seen the carfax report? You don't seem to know much about it." And he said no, but he would to have his manager print it and he left the room. While sitting there I thought -He could have printed them a week ago on the 11th, or the 14th, or even the 16th when I told him I was on my way OR even while I was out test driving it-to at least know SOMETHING about the car. So I left his office after waiting 4-5 min. For him to print the carfax, and said to Dan and his manager "I'm just going to go. I just don't really feel comfortable with this visit it seems no one knows anything about this Jeep." Then a different salesman walked by and said he took it in on a trade and the other two were like "ooooh ok" They didn't even know how it got there! Then a last ditch effort they walked me out to the jeep to look at the sunroof and I said "So is the price negotiable?" (Like, I'm leaving-throw me the best price you have to try to save this sale) and the manager said "Well I think we need to work on your comfort level first." TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED! It was the only white jeep within 150 miles of me. How does a car dealership lose a sale to someone who wants to buy the car!? I did more prep work selling a cell phone than this guy did selling a car. It's sad too because I'm STILL looking for my white Jeep and I could have had it 3 weeks ago. OH and even after I left I thought "well, if he calls me within 48 hours-maybe I can still justify working w them" but nope- no follow up call. Compared to the dealer in Bloomington who has sent me info on 3 jeeps since I test drove one on Jan. 2nd. From their lot-I cannot justify going back there. EVER. :(

Chad had the car we wanted to look at warmed up and waiting at the door. Everyone treated us well. Our finance man Buddy have us simple options without making us fell stressed to make a quick decision. Chad stayed and made sure we understood how to use the automatic start and that the on star was set up. This was long after closing time. We will be back when my daughter needs a car. You guys were great

Just purchased a car from Pete at Leman's in Eureka (I did extensive research)......They do not do the smoke and mirrors tactics I found at SO many other dealerships........ I absolutely have no time or patience for this type of sales. They are a small facility however they really do an excellent job from begining to end...I would suggest them to anyone wanting to purchase a vehicle! Love my new car! Pete is GREAT!
