This was 3 years before I even met my husband. Fast forward to March 2024 and we had our dream wedding.Spencer and his entire team were beyond helpful, organized, and very patient throughout the entire process. The day of, the team was on point with everything and readily available to assist with anything needed. Max, our DJ, executed our vibe for the party and kept everyone dancing all night long. Our entire vision was exactly what we imagined and couldn't be more grateful. Even several days later, we are still getting compliments on how much fun our guests had! “Came to area for my husband birthday. He loves old, classic, hot rods so I planned this outing for him. When we walked in we were greeted very well & got a good explanation of everything. This is a huge place that everyone can enjoy. It is 2 stories but there are several bathrooms which was a plus. All the vehicles were great & we enjoyed reading all the histories of each. This museum is much more than the cars. It is a fun nostalgic atmosphere to be in. Even got to meet & talk to owner in elevator. Recommend highly.”
“It had been many years since my last visit. Spanning three floors, it seems Dalvage One has found a balance between being an architectural salvage location and an event space. Much of the first and second floors is dedicated to weddings and parties. Still a very fun placevto explore in.”

“The facility where the museum is built is very large and beautiful, inside the museum there are some samples but my humble opinion... Chicago to have so many Puerto Ricans and so many talents should have many more exhibitions to show the world, there is talent, there is creativity, the only thing missing is donate and show more of that Puerto Rican culture, I thought I would find typical costumes, some Taino samples, more history or at least a gallery of the great artists and celebrities that the island has produced, one with the music they have created, etc.”
“A must see! Give yourself plenty of time to see this museum. Great displays telling the Holocaust stories. They do have guides to walk you through the displays. We haven't used them, but I'd recommend using them your first time through. I've been here 2 times and haven't taken enough time to see all in detail. Make sure you plan to see the 3D Holocaust survivor exhibit. It's a hologram of a survivor sitting on a chair telling their story. You can ask questions, and they answer. Very cool. They have a VR experience. I'd recommend you go to that. However, the technology needs upgrading. It's worth going to. Overall, highly recommend you visit and great for young adults to understand what really happened. Learn from history, so this never happens again.”
“Create your Space Studio is such a magical space to hold classes. I have been holding my group breathwork classes here and it is just perfect. The space is clean, bright, cheerful and has a wonderful sound system, lighting, and two clean bathrooms. Jackie, the owner, is organized, responsive, helpful and makes booking and renting the space a pleasure. I am so happy I found this incredible shared rental space in the neighborhood to hold my classes and build community. It's perfect!”

“If you need to get out the house and work elsewhere this is the place to go!! Their drinks are strong and tasty and they have seasonal drinks as well! What I was surprised about was that they also have a cocktail menu, because it's 5'o'clock somewhere right?! My son really liked their frozen hot chocolate and wants to go back for more! It's just a nice industrial space that anyone would like to hang out at!!”
“I can only comment from the perspective of being a guest at a party (well my kid was).The biggest takeaway was "Wow! That seemed so easy.'"It had all the charm of the at home personalized parties I attended as a child (that I don't have the room to recreate in a city house) mixed with the organization and experience of professionals who are used to hosting gatherings of children.I've been to other spaces that did an ok job, but it felt like we were on a party conveyer belt and the staff was just counting down the moments until they could leave. Purple Monkey Playroom was the opposite. It was structured, but not oppressively so. The employee seemed like she was honestly invested in the event running smoothly and everyone having a good time.Total win/win situation.The kids had fun, the hostess had fun, the other parents had fun!This is where I will go for our next party!”

“We had our wedding there on 01.26.2024 at 07:00 PM. The event was phenomenal, and the staff were amazing. We were so stressed about the wedding, and we had many happy and sad moments. Jose and his team supported us in getting our cake, decorating the place (picking out our colors), and having everyone set up accordingly (our vendors included).The staff was amazing, and the setup was awesome! Payments were smooth and very streamlined, and we liked the reminders because they kept us on track to ensure we had everything paid off before the event. The food was delicious, and both our families were happy about the food. We had sweets brought out after the food and that was awesome. The venue was very clean, and the place was organized.The bartenders were knowledgeable and helpful with the drinks and for those that were too intoxicated during our wedding, the bartenders were quick to cut them off and offer water instead. The servers were professional, and everyone was kind and friendly! Thank you so much for helping us with our wedding! We were happy that you could share this moment with us!”

All the teachers are great and they are so nice about letting us bring grandparents etc when they are in town (grandparents eat this stuff up!).We haven’t done a baby rave yet, but it’s on our list!”

We’ve been bringing our daughter here full time since she was 3 months old and it has been exactly what we’ve wanted and needed for childcare as two remote-working professionals and as someone who was exclusively breastfeeding. The playmakers are so great with the kids, my daughter lights up when she sees them every morning. The space is clean and inviting; it truly feels like a second home to us! A great little community of parents as well!”
“Awesome place. They hosted a fight tonight and me and my team competed. I love the old school vibe. It felt real. I'm tired of all these new high tech places. This felt like I was in a rocky movie. Real and original. The ppl running the food bar were so friendly. They gave us a free bottle of water for our fighter and were just supportive to our needs all night. Thank you.”
