I met the Bernas' in the '80s when the store was at the North & Pulaski area, Because I worked 'down the street' I took co-workers there many a lunch hour - at the time they sold some wicked good raisin/bran muffins. Both Ken and Anita are personable and friendly and a source of good advice. Over the years they were a go-to for my family. They solved and advised my son re eczema and a bad reaction to an antibiotic, pain relief from a wisdom tooth extraction. When my daughter-in-law was trying to stop smoking...Ken suggested something to help.
When we stopped by the shop with my brand new grandson, Anita welcomed him 'to earth.' Wonderful people.

I was traveling when I came to visit the store in search of garlic ear drops for my toddler and the couple who owns the store are very kind and helpful. They directed me to the product I was looking for with ease and I was able to find what I needed in a very timely manner with their help. The store is very homey and if you would like to support a small local business, this is definitely the place ?

Love this authentic herbal place. The owners are very knowledgeable and kind. It's hard to buy from other herbalist as I have been patronizing Larabee for many years. I hope they remain around for many more cause you can't beat the quality here. Thank you!!!

Ken is a 0/10 very racist !!! The bad reviews about Ken is very true he basically asked me why did I come in the store for a detox when I can just eat healthy smh . Worse customer service experience ever !!!

This place was absolutely amazing!! The products were very high quality and well priced. As other reviews I read on this facility spoke negatively of the Knowledge Providers, I thoroughly enjoyed the in depth conversations regarding the products and health conditions. The owners were able to give ongoing dialogue to several customers at one time with genuine interest and concern. One of the facilitators remembered other customers as they entered store. The space was clean, neat and fresh while still providing an organic feel. As a first time visitor, I am looking forward to my next visit. Thank you!!!

Nice selection of fresh organic herbs along with vitamins and personal care items, natural food items, health books etc. The owner is nice and tries to educate/inform/answer questions. Lots of interesting handouts too. I suggest going with an open mind and you may learn something helpful while shopping.

Amazing experience. Took my husband for digestive issues. The gentleman who helped us was so knowledgeable better than any doctor we have seen before. Told us exactly what to do. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would.
