Worst customer service. I will never be back here and I'll take my business somewhere else. These women that work here are rude and entitled. Fix your staff before your business goes under. Too bad because this store has some cute items. Elmhurst needs to really step up their game. Sad!

This is the only place to purchase Lanzi Carnel nut chew candy. I called a bunch of different stores and nobody knew what I was talking about. I will definitely be back as the store has alot of random things wives live to buy. The person at this location (wish I asked for her name) extremely helpful and made my experience very nice. A gem to visit if your in Elmhurst!!!!

The items here a beautiful, and there is a good variety. I want to support local, but the staff is not very friendly. I walked in, said hello, and whether the lady heard me or not, she saw me but didn't say hello. I walked around the store to look around, and another staff member walked right behind me, but didn't say hello. As a customer, that did not make me feel welcome. I am hesitant to go back. I will support local but not at the cost of bad costumer service.

Years ago prior to the Uptown Shop existance was a candy company in Chicago called Lanzi candys. Today the product has been recreated by the Grand Son of the founder Elmo Lanzi and the Uptown Shop is the best place possible to market this famous brand and the people who run this shop are as one of a kind as this candy confection. So friendly and attentive. (Seven stars and more!)

Cute shop with some really beautiful holiday items, especially the hand-blown glass ornaments. Picked up a few treasures on deep discount today as they are moving shop and were clearing out inventory. They are relocating a few doors south, in the space previously occupied by the toy store.

I have a memory of a candy that I always ate at my grandparents’ house as a child, but the name of that candy had been lost to me over the years. I described it to so many people, and no one seemed to know what I was talking about. Imagine my elation when I discovered that it was not only recreated by a fellow fan, but was being sold at a shop in Elmhurst! Lanzi’s Cashew Nut and Rice Crunch, you brought back wonderful memories, and Uptown Shop, you brought back a little known masterpiece. Thank you. And yes, the shop itself is wonderful and friendly as well.

This place is filled with such love and laughter. I loved this store for months before starting to work here myself. My work family is full of the nicest and caring women out there. Whatever you need, we got it. We have been open for fifteen holiday seasons and we plan to be open for many more to come. I am so thrilled and happy to have found a home here.

This is the best place if you want to find something for someone who you think has everything already! So many unique items, awesome candy selections and constantly new merchandise plus every holiday must haves. I first visited for a baptism gift for my nephew after going four or five other places with no luck. The Uptown shop had several special gifts to choose from for the occasion. Now, I go regularly to find the outfit noone else will have, the perfect card for any occasion or a housewarming present I know won't be returned! Check it out - I promise you will love it!

The Uptown Shop has such a wonderful selection of items in all price ranges. Customer Service fabulous. Anytime I need a gift for someone special(or myself), I shop there!
