It's -10° outside. I walk to the door and they will not let me in. A guest told them to let me in and finally he laughs and let me in. What was so funny about a guy being locked out of the hotel in -10° weather. That was inappropriate. I promise I will return. Next time they do it, I'm going to bang on the door very hard and loud, now that I know they have the ability to push a button and open the door.

It was a pleasant stay at this hotel. Front desk person was very nice and friendly. Atmosphere was nice. My room had a giant cobweb which made it seem like housekeeping doesn't "deep deep" clean. The connection for the tv kept going out so it was annoying trying to watch shows. Unfortunately other guests kept going out in the hallway to talk on the phone and they were extremely noisy. Other than that it was alright of a stay.

Toilets paint was peeling and rusty but the free breakfast was nice if you’re up before 9. Great staff :)

No shower gel for my two day stay. I used soap. I seen three front dest representatives during my stay and not a one said hello. Eric was my first front desk representative and he can't smile. His face is fixed in a " why are you bothering me". It would have been nice to be greeted with a smile and told hello and have a nice day. But I guess these days that's two much for most people to do. Most people don't even want to be at work.Rooms: No shower gel. So that tells me housekeeping have not checked it in a while

Springhill Suites in Elmhurst is a nice place with clean and comfortable rooms. This close to O'Hare it's hard to find anything under $200 that is clean and isn't run by Third World standards. We're Gold Marriot members and have automatic late checkout until 2pm which is nice. There's ample parking but it's a $5 up charge to park. We had a little problem with our key cards and the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars because this location is beautiful, the staff are MORE than willing to help you with most anything you require. They're friendly (GENUINELY friendly), they want to make your experience one to remember, and they really know their stuff. Every time I had a question, they were either able to answer me or find out for me within mere moments! The suites are gorgeous. Modern but with a touch of classical beauty to them. I hope someone who helped me from my stay from 11-12 to 11-15 (Even though I had to check out early) reads this and realizes that they are the ones I'm speaking about. I had a bit of a situation going on and they absolutely went above and beyond the call to help me! I hope a certain front desk worked enjoys the amethyst I gave to her :)tl;dr - If you're looking between this gorgeous property and another hotel, GO WITH THIS ONE. If you're unsatisfied, I will eat my hat!Thank you and sincerely,Randall ORooms: Where to begin: The rooms have a modern layout, great temp control, all the amenities you'd expect and the beds are just ... muah! *Chefs kissSafety: I can tell the staff are making sure that only the people that are supposed to be there are able to move around the hotel. It's amazing, with all the people staying there, they all knew me by name and that made me feel like part of a family. Because that's what you are when you stay here.... family.Noteworthy details: First thing you'll notice is the beautiful lobby. Once you get to your room is when the true shock and awe really set in. Everything is top notch and the beds are just unbelievably comfortable. (And I have a bad back!) But the most noteworthy part of this place is the staff. Everyone there is a superstar employee. I felt like I was being pampered and you can tell they just LOVE their jobs. It was really a great feeling to know that when you treat your employees correctly and give them all the tools they need to succeed, they thrive! It made me happy to think of the future of business in a time where most places are turning into continuous bar drops, lower and lower. I don't even have the words to describe it other than, lovely.

Great location! Close to everything and really comfortable beds and pillows. Breakfast was amazing!! They have a killer oatmeal bar with options like blueberry compote, almonds, flaxseed, raisins, coconut, granola, raisins, and so much more! Hubby really liked the biscuits and gravy. We would absolutely recommend to anyone to stay here

My stay here in the Springhill hotel was nice. It was clean, and customer service was nice. Greeting me every time I walked in or out of the building.It was a perfect central location to all the places I wanted to go. Most importantly, despite all the kids that were here, it was pretty quiet. Thank you to the parents and staff for keeping noise down and dining area clear.Nearby activities: Not too far to the city. Great location to all the things I wanted to do.

Enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The service was excellent, especially the 6th floor cleaning team. Anthony was always smiling and very friendly. The hotel is very easy to get to and a great location.

We had a few issues with our first room that ended up being resolved when they moved us to a new room. The water pressure in the shower was really great. The breakfasts in the morning were very nice. And the coffee they offered in the lobby wasn't bad. Overall it was a good stay.Food & drinks: The breakfasts in the morning were actually very nice. We liked their oatmeal bar.

Devon and Sam were really nice, clean rooms and good service, you get what you pay for, if you want to travel to the city i didnt any additional tolls like i have before so i liked the location.

I had some issues with this hotel. But Eric the GM smoothed every thing out for me in the end. It is hard to find customer service like this nowadays. Super happy with this service!

Rooms were outdated, the elevator was questionable. The breakfast was excellent and the one employee working it was fantastic.

The accommodations was perfect to my friend and my sister, we choose a triple room with to bed and sofa bed. The parking is free, and wifi too. The breakfast is ready 7 to 11. It's pet friendly, and there is covered pool.
