Paws Treats & Accessories
299 N York St, ElmhurstLovely place, lovely people that do great work consistently! I've brought several dogs over a decade or more.Lots of signage about rules and why grooming is expensive and how to tip, etc. bombard you and spoil the vibe a bit.The friendly thoughtful people mollify the signs, which are probably necessary from another point of view.

Pet Care

DeVries Animal Hospital
528 Spring Rd, ElmhurstThere couldn't be enough room or time for me to list all of the reason why I love Devries and know they are the best place I could take any pet I own.My current dog is 15 years old and while she age-related issues are starting to set in, she's overall doing amazing. People always think she's a puppy and are shocked when I tell them she's an elderly dog. While much of that could be lucky genes, I KNOW she would not be where she is today without having her entire life's healthcare come from Devries.Of all the amazing qualities I could list, I'll just say this most important quality of Devries; every time I come here I feel like every single staff member - from Vet to tech to receptionist - loves my dog(s) as much as I do. They selflessly want the best for your pet as if they were their own. And that's all you can ask from a vet!

Elmhurst Animal Care Center
850 S Riverside Dr, ElmhurstWe have been taking our Huskies to Elmhurst Animal Care Center for years, and they always receive excellent care. From the front desk staff, to the techs, down to the veterinarians. We have taken them here for check ups/follow up cares, boarding, and training. Whenever we go on vacation, our dogs stay here for boarding. We can tell they’re having the best time from the pictures we receive from the boarding staff. It’s like our dogs are on their own vacation!
Dr Cudiamat is our go-to vet. He is professional, very kind, and very reassuring. He really cares for our dogs. Not to mention very patient, because our dogs tend to be very “hyper” and anxious in public. He answers all our questions and concerns.
We can’t say enough good things about him and the staff, especially when it came to the most difficult time of our lives when we had to say goodbye to our old man husky. The staff was very considerate. Dr Cudiamat did an amazing job at informing us of the “process.” We felt that they were all there for us during this time. And they even sent us a sympathy card showing their condolences. Which we appreciated.
So, thank you Elmhurst Animal Care Center!
Also, take your dogs to train with Derrick! He’s awesome!! You’ll definitely thank him and yourself for doing it. lol.

Leash Adventures
680 N Michigan St #1737, ElmhurstWe recently moved back to Chicago area and I did a search on one of the Elmhurt pages on FB for dog walkers and found several people recommended LA. Monica came to my house to meet our dogs and was professional with me. She asked the right questions and seem to have our dogs best interest.

Tail Gate For Dogs
830 N Addison Ave, ElmhurstLove this place, more importantly so does my sweet dog! If she ever is going to pull on her leash to get in somewhere besides home it is Tailgate. I can always leave her there knowing she is in great hands and well taken care of. Staff is extremely friendly and the owner goes above and beyond. I would not trust any other place with my sweet golden retriever. I board my dog often due to travel and I have also used them for daycare and both get an A+!!

Camp Bow Wow
641 IL-83, ElmhurstExcellent. Super easy to set up the care of my dog while travelling. Great to see web cams of the doggie action while away. I use camp bow wow in another state regularly. This location is just as good. I'd also note to 10000% choose this location over the Plainfield/Joliet location which is newer and seems to be run by a tyrant lunatic based on my experience there. Very scary situation at Plainfield/Joliet to be sure. Don't take any chances there and, instead, go over a few miles to Elmhurst period... even if the other one may be a little closer for you. Go to Elmhurst Camp Bow Wow for peace of mind for your pup. These caretakers at Elmhurst love and care for your dog instead of treating your dog like a prison inmate. Literally, no matter the time of day I popped in to the Elmhurst Webcam the pups are being loved and having a great time. 10-stars if I could.

Lyons Township Dog Training
706 Industrial Dr, ElmhurstI have been with the club for nearly 2 years. We started in puppy obedience and are now doing agility classes. The club is so different from other training programs in that it’s coordinated and run by passionate and knowledgeable volunteers truly interested in the success of every owner-dog team. . As a result, it’s very personal, incredibly fun, and great learning. I can’t wait for next Tuesday-and we just got home from class tonight. Great experience in every way.Mary and Debbie Simpson were outstanding in both, Rally and obedience. Betty makes agility challenges much easier by breaking down task in pieces. Al of them are great about positive training.

For Your K9
706 Industrial Dr, ElmhurstWe took our dog to the From Scared to Prepared class as she barks at other dogs and people she doesn't know. The instructor, Brianne, was very knowledgeable and helpful. We received a lot of good information and techniques from her and these have already helped our dog. Highly recommend this class and the instructor Brianne.

Zenwich Elmhurst
416 N York St B, ElmhurstI had the BBQ pork belly sandwich in a rice wrap, seasoned chips with the cucumbers, and seasoned fries. Everything was delicious and fresh! There was a little spice in the sandwich, but it wasn’t overwhelming. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Chai is very nice! I am definitely coming back.

Phase Three Brewing Company - Taproom + Kitchen
494 Spring Rd, ElmhurstThe honey butter fries are excellent. That came with the tocino bhan mi, a large portion. The marinated sweet meat is very similar to the Vietnamese one with a slight Filipino twist recommended. The pork lumpia is standard fare meaning it's good. I'm Filipino it has my seal of approval. This is a brewery and they have a lot of those - we just didn't have one tonight.

Hamburger Heaven Elmhurst
281 N York St, ElmhurstAstonishing that it's still around. I was 10 when it opened in 1948 and to get a double decker at HH was close to heaven. Across the street was Prince Castle, long gone, where you could get a slider for much less money. HH was a splurge and it's wonderful to see it live today.
