If broker or dispatch does NOT tell you
Doors with numbers are for deliverys after 0700, if you have an appointment between 0400 and 0600 its on the other side of building, those docks are by letters ranging from A thro L, they DONT have overnight, and there are fairly quick to unload, they will ask you to dock and come inside or dock and disconnect

Fantastic customer service that you don’t see anymore these days. Had an issue with some hex bars I ordered (the size wasn’t correct for what I needed—my mistake), and they quickly resolved the issue for me at no cost. Highly, highly recommend!!!

Very cool place people are nice for all otr drivers if you’re live load check in by door 16 ring the bell they will assign you a door and you’ll also have to disconnect from trailer they will come to you when finish do not hook up if you see the green light

McMaster-Carr has consistently delivered what I need for many years. I am only now getting around to reviewing the business, but I have been using them for decades and every single transaction has been handled expediently and delivered quickly. It is very important to be able to get exactly what you want and this has been very helpful when I used to work in manufacturing industries and now for me working on custom cars in my body shop.

Super unprofessional. I placed an order on the website and got a confirmation email with order number and promised delivery date. A week later my order had not arrived. After multiple phone calls and a final email to them I simply got the response:Hi,Thank you for considering McMaster-Carr for your purchase. We decline to accept your business at this time and have canceled your order.RichThe service I received was super unprofessional and to make matters worse I have no idea what I did wrong (other than spend thousands of dollars buying parts from them over the years).Now my project is delayed and I'm left looking for an alternative supplier.Thanks a lot McMaster!Look elsewhere if you need reliable customer service!!!Edit: A day after posing this review I was contacted by customer service. This was the first positive experience I had with this company in regards to this issue. I was able to place my order again and they allowed it to be approved this time (oh thanks to the mighty McMaster Gods!). I believe the issue was that I placed the order using a VPN the first time which apparently flagged it in their system. If you Google this issue, it seems that McMaster is super paranoid about people from outside the USA ordering parts for shipment to other countries. I have no idea why they would care or why this would be a problem. Do they sell ITAR stuff??? I sure don't think so...Anyway lesson learned. Don't use a VPN, Don't have two names on the account or change addresses when you move etc. Don't expect any help until you make a stink...I've Increased my rating to three stars since they finally allowed me to order.
