Meat sales and the produce (when it's available) are the best thing about this place. That's all. They will have something popular sell out and then they will fill the shelves with something nobody wants. Every jewel does this. I swear I will never understand why jewel will constantly discontinue products that are actually popular.
The sale prices are never updated, probably intentionally. You will pick an item thinking it's on sale only for it to be full price.
Most of the staff are lazy, aloof, rude people. Some are good, but they're overwhelmed, given. I've stood for up to fifteen minutes every visit to the service desk. The person at the customer service desk always acts irritated and annoyed, rudely pushes you off to the longest checkout line instead of helping, that's if they're even there.
There is only one or two checkout open and self checkout is normally faster unless you need an associate, then they're usually never around.
The only reason I go here is because it's walking distance. Go somewhere else if you can. Every time I come here I find a reason to regret it.

I'm from Detroit. We do not have Jewel in our area. It's a nice grocery store. Very clean, with a Starbucks!

I never had a problem at this store but when I was there yesterday evening, the worker was unwilling to help me. His response was "if it is not there, we don't have it". It was crazy because I continued shopping and found what I was looking for. Customer service is not the same anymore. I don't care what age the worker was, do better.

This review is fully on the parking lot who puts a Grocery store parking lot on a HILL a freaking hill like who does that. Now I'm wondering if a cart goes rolling because remember this is a hill the store could be Liable now I know what some might say if ppl would put their carts back I'm a Big Advocate on putting those carts back I Always return my cart but what is one to do when you're trying to load you items in your car and your cart is rolling away because remember of this damn Hill like Jewels do better.
