160 N York St, Elmhurst“Great service, always available and responsive and the best part is the price. Before dealing with them I went to two other coin shops in the area and was disappointed. After my successful coin sale with Elmhurst Coins I am bringing all my future business here.”
“I've been coming here for almost a decade. Originally as a board game collector but more recently as a Warhammer player. Excellent store for many different kinds of games and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Also a great spot for Magic the Gathering and other card games.
My go to gaming store for a long time!”
“My kids brought in their coin collection and were curious about selling some. The gentleman who worked there was very friendly and took the time to go through the coins. My kids and I had a great experience and will definitely be coming back!”
“A big shout out to Bill from Lombard Hobbies. He converted my DC Atlas Trainman® Plus NRE Genset II Locomotive to DCC. Awesome shop with awesome people. Thank you once again Bill for your help.”

They also have a monthly raffle which you get free entries with purchases.”
“Very well put together place, amazing and friendly staff. That is very informative. They don’t have what you want they will get it for you. I went in there with my kiddos, and they even gave them little sample packs for them to get into it! Hope it’s appropriate to mention an employee Sebastian there that made the experience great and easy. I will definitely be a returning customer ?”
“I'm a huge fan of Fair Game, and try to spend money supporting my friendly local game store whenever possible. As a Dungeon Master for my D&D group there's a great array of official content, third party sources, and minis for my game. As a parent, I'm thrilled by their large selection of games age appropriate for my 3 year old. Every time I walk in their staff are friendly and helpful, and it's an excellent environment for the kids in the area. Can't say enough positive things about the place!”
“Please ignore any one star reviews on my business. They are NOT customers of mine. They are people going to another business, a nightclub/restaurant in a different plaza without adequate parking, filling up the parking spots in front of my business, and refusing to move their car when I've asked them.”
“Nice store for all kinds of kids stuff in Lombard. Lots of Dr. Who and marvel figures and toys. Prices were decent. Not many customers even on a weekend.Staff were helpful to look and suggest items.”
9AM - 9PM
7155 Kingery Hwy, Willowbrook“Enormous selection of crafting items. I went for artificial flowers to put down in the cemetary. Found a reasonable selection AND hit a 50% off sale... talk about a deal...”
10AM - 6PM
1524 Lee St, Des Plaines“One of the best things about having a hobby is going into a hobby shop and finding that the people working there are even bigger fans than you. They have a great selection of model railroad equipment and much more. Everyone I've spoken to is beyond friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Lyle and Geroge (hope I spelled your names correctly) for really taking their time and providing great customer service.”
“Excellent selection of beer and wine making equipment and supplies. Kyle is very knowledgeable and helpful with getting started, as well as advice on modifying recipes. Have yet to attend one of their brewing events, but the home brewer's day event was very fun and filled with welcoming people.
My go-to place for brewing supplies. Plenty of parking and just off St. Charles Rd makes it easy to get to as well.”
“First time in the Chicago area and long time collector of Charlie Bears and Jellycat. Upon a recommendation from a friend, I headed to Fairy Tales Inc. What a beautiful shop. Wonderful selection and the store associates are kind, helpful and patient. Very highly recommend checking this quaint store in Lombard.”
“Excellent selection of trains, accessories, track, and even toys for the kids. Train service and support was excellent and the guys are helpful and knowledgeable all around. I am a kid again. Thank you. Ceiling layout is complete, just 1 more tweak remains.”

7025 Ogden Ave, Berwyn“Was very busy and hard to get help but after being there an hour with my kids I finally got help and was able to Purchase the slotcar I wanted/needed to race with my friend I'll definitely be back. They got a good little hidden selection of slotcars unfortunately they don't know enough to help other people ,with questions or carry new tires for the slotcars.”
“This location beat one of my pricing expectations set by GenCon & Avalon Hill's website. For the store's small footprint, I always look forward to coming here. There's always something new going on!”
“Been all over the Chicagoland area in and out of sports cards/memorabilia shops throughout the years. I'll say Elite Cards is top of the line. When I say "top of the line", I mean both Ronnie & Gary buy-sell-trade with integrity. Wealth of knowledge in the industry. It's not just about making a "sale" with these guys, they're in it because they love what they do! A lot of shops I've been too, I've always picked up on the used car salesman vibe but not here. Straight shooters, no sugar coating, and or over inflating value on products they have. Simply tell them what you're trying to accomplish and they'll help you get there! Thanks guys!”
10AM - 6PM
7139 W Higgins Ave, Chicago“Incredible shop, something for every level collector. You will not leave empty handed. The clerk it knowledgeable and willing to advise if needed. If your looking for something extremely specific I would call first a few days before so he can set it aside, at times they are busy. And cannot hunt the very rare and obscure. None the less I love the shop but no longer live in the state.”
“Steven is very knowledgeable about the trading cards and provides great customer service. I've been buying supplies and cards from him for years and was never disappointed. Highly recommend.”
“This was a great end to a tragic loss my husband passed a few months ago and he had gold coins I thought weren't worth very much well I was mistaken to my surprise”
“My Dad was a coin collector since my grade school years. He had the good fortune of meeting Joe over 35 years ago. They spent about 25 years building their various collections together. Dad had a variety of coins but his prize collection was his Buffalo nickels. When he passed away he left that collection to his 4 kids. I had maintained a relationship with Joe and so took the Buffalos to him to have them appraised. Joe looked at each individual coin with his resources available to put a value on each coin. I had taken the collection to other dealers and they did a cursory look at the coins and threw out a number. Joe's attention to detail and what I felt was a very fair offer, let me know he is still the friend my father trusted for 25 years! Thanks Joe! ❤”
9AM - 3:30PM
35 Chestnut Ave, Westmont“Among the many philatelic (stamp) auction houses Rasdale is a standout.Their auction catalogues are worth the price of admission: lively and well written with just the right touch of humor. Even if you don't participatethey are a delight to read. I've successfully acquired many choice items fromthem. And if you are selling (far too common these days) you can rest assured their mid-western values and character will guide you painlessly.Whether you are perusing their extensive catalogue for elusive items for your collection, or selling dad's (or grandpa's) cherished stamp albums I cannot recommend them highly enough. PS-why don't you keep one of your father's albums for yourself? I think the kids would love pouring over it!”
9AM - 9PM
180 S Mannheim Rd, Hillside“Better than usual experience due to a capable framer who helped us out. We were there for the big 70-75% off framing sale which is a total marking hack as the prices are still very high. First time using Michael’s. Hopefully the results will be great.”
“Hello there my daughter draws real good and I wanted to surprise her and get her a art supplies the whole set looked at plenty of stores and nothing then went to Michaels and that was it so much stuff omg loved it found everything right there and more..”

9404 Joliet Rd, Hodgkins“Came by today my sons nintendo switch controller got messed up I have insurance on it but I lost my receipt Zachary was able look it up thru my phone ans helped me with finding new game for my boy. Thank you for your great customer service. Ps your store is the cleanest I've been to”
“I have been wanting to visit one of the Goat stores for some time now. They have a good selection of games, it's just hard to find something I want when I already have over 300 games but the store attendant was very patient with me as I vacillated whether to buy anything or not. I didn't ask her name, unfortunately, and had several conversations with her in the meantime. She's a good salesperson, though, she convinced me to buy Marvel Zombies which I never really wanted in my collection but hearing her description made me change my mind...and besides, I had to buy something for fear of her thinking I was some sort of creep loitering around. ?”
