Update: I went to the other Chase location. I was helped immediately. And I was out of there in five minutes. What bank makes you wait two days for an appointment to convert a total checking to a college account? It takes five minutes to show a college ID and make the transition. This is while two bankers are sitting at their empty desks and I am one of two customers in the entire bank. They can't function without having an appointment?

Jefferson vyxay, branch manager, is the worst employee I have ever experienced at any Chase Branch, by far. How he ever reached the position of branch manager is completely baffling to me. IMO, Vyxay is arrogant, has zero customer relation skills, impatient, punishing, has no desire to establish any good relations with any potential customer, lazy, disrespectful to the company and clients, doesn't admit fault, avoids taking on any responsibility for his actions and generally is the worst employee of chase I've ever encountered. I believe he is the antithesis of what chase requires from its employees and he has no business being out front representing the company. To me, he's developed an anti customer attitude and is completely the opposite of what an employee should be representing chase. In my 43 years as a client of chase, he is the first employee of chase I have ever been insulted by. This individual should NOT work for or represent chase. It's my first experience where I'm considering pulling all my accounts out of chase. His unapologetic attitude regarding conflict is atrocious and appalling. Pathetic and disgusting.Btw, I will be attempting to contact Jamie Dimon, CEO of Chase.I'm sure he'll be curious to hear of my unfortunate experience with Vyxay.I'd rate Vyxay zero stars if I could.In my opinion, he had no reason to exhibit anger towards me, which prompts me to suspect there may have been racial bigotry aimed at me from him. Racism.

Seems like a common thread. Right as you walk in, they want you to sign in on a clipboard ( privacy???). Then they're asking why you're there. Mind you, not coming over and having a private conversation with you-- yelling across the bank like 30 ft away. No, not social distancing... Even though you've been a chase client for over 25 years, this branch anyway doesn't value you. Came in on a weekday am and all the bankers were talking about their weekend, oil change cost, what their cars were, definitely needing to prove themselves etc while patrons were waiting for service. I myself was waiting for service by those exact people. Really disrespectful. Have fun at work-- I'm ok w that when there's no patrons. When we see that, it sends the message that we are not important to the success of chase. And we will move on and share our experiences with others. Going to a smaller friendlier still FDIC ensured bank. All of them are!!!

Rachel Hoffman was Amazing! She took care of me and my husband right away . She was very knowledgeable about all the areas we needed assistance with which were quite a few. Great customer service ! Thanks again !

I went in to get something notarized and was asked to sit in the lobby. Literally zero other customers in the bank and at least 6 staff. I Felt annoyed that while I sat there waiting, two different co workers chatted it up w the notary. They even came over to tel me the person was finishing a project, meanwhile I can hear there is no work being done. Thought it was rude.

I had a problem with my account at chase Elmhurst but the manager Mr Jefferson was very helpful in getting it resolved. He updated us and made sure the issue was taken care of. We are very appreciative of all the work he did to resolve this matter!

i went to deal with activity on my account that should not of been there today, and they were patient with me and got to the root of the problem right away and fixed it. i was helped by a nice young lady and i wish i remembered her name cuz id shout her out right now lol but i dont. but this is a great location to go to and call your home bank!!! 10 out of 5 stars

Worst drive-thru. There's no functional way to use it whilst in a vehicle. It's way too low for any standard-sized car.

First of all, It would be nice if your teller (the First Lady on the right side) would actually stand up in front of clients and approach them in a more professional way. Second of all, I wonder if chase train their employees properly as employees at this branch had no ideas about Reg CC and funds availability after depositing checks or specific hold on checks!!! Yes I asked your and she said” I’m not sure, probably 2 days when it gets cleared by the other bank” well that is not what a client expect to hear. That is just not acceptable. Also, having to wait for 40 mins to see a banker without anyone checking in or saying that it would take that long makes me realize that chase is no longer in lees in providing a good costumer service level. I have been a client for 10 years today I noticed that my business was not appreciated so I will be closing my accounts soon.

My mother comes to me in distress that in trying to help my brother open an account they asked her for HER GREEN CARD AND PASSPORT. When before there had been no such mention of needing these things when they gave her the initial information! Was the licence not enough because of her accent? The account was independent for someone else. She was only there to assist. I dont have to mention how disgusting is is for these things to still be happening in what appeared to be a nice town! But no worries we won't go where we are unwelcome.
