Ordered a large order from shein on the 12th (now the 23rd) for a package going overseas it has now been "delivered" to this post office with no answers on why they have my package and how to get it on its way to me overseas :(

To those international customer wondering their package, here is a glimmer of hope while you got anxiety from all the bad reviews from this place as a blackhole. Not the best time taking 5days to processed an item, but at least it went through.

Can someone from this distribution center please let me know why my package arrived in Chicago March 26th, then shipped to India, only to be shipped back to the US on April 9th to Elk Grove Village, Illinois distribution center and sitting there ever since. I expect our post office and distribution centers do their job and help us recieve our packages on time with no issues but I see from the reviews here that too many people are having bad experiences here and don't deserve this. We should be able to depend on U.S. services to meet our expectations.

They will have your packages from SHEIN and wait until the very last day to deliver packages. This is the worst place ever.

They are horrible, at doing their job, i have missed my greencard , they said it was lost, i had to pay extra $500 and waiting another 16 months to get them proccessed , still waiting for my greencard, also They never sent out my money order for my business! I had to pay a additional fee for this postal offices fault! Always lying about “Delivery attempted” if any one knows who i can contact to get my loses refunded! Shut this place down or find new manager or something!

Close this place and fire all the workers. Cant ever get through the phone. My live birds were suppose to be over night to michigan ad arrive today. And this post office is waiting to sing for them a day later.... close this facility and never use this place again. My mail, money and time are more important than this location screwing around with people mail...

Last year had a package sent Priority 2 Day that stalled in Elk Grove Village then showed up 12 days later south of Miami...package was going from Chicago to Arkansas. I now shipped same mode of Priority and it went through Elk Grove again..... 12 days later still Tracking shows it fall off the radar in Elk Grove. When time sensitive payments and documents are involved USPS is not to be trusted. Everyone working at this hub should consider a different line of employment.

Mail usually doesn't come until 8PM or later. They also like to lose packages. Unacceptable. These clowns never answer the phone either. Typical government employees.

The worst post office ever ! They messing up package delivery all the time . In my mail box often I'm finding someone else's mail .My package was due on 19th Feb. still not here . Checked tracking it says they can't locate the address lol. Ridiculous!!!!!

Everyone here needs to be inspected. Sent out a package on the 11th, saw that it went to the Elk Grove Distribution Center and then magically disappeared the same day I sent it out. This package was important to me and I am so upset that no one seems to know anything. Everyone just reads the same tracking information off of a screen. Where is the accountability?!

If I could give zero star i would!I recently visited this usps and unfortunately had a less-than-pleasant experience with the front desk lady, particularly someone with blonde hair. The encounter left me dissatisfied with the service provided.During my visit, the front desk lady exhibited a discourteous attitude, which significantly impacted my overall experience. Her lack of friendliness and unhelpful demeanor were concerning, and it left me feeling frustrated as a customer.I believe that a positive and respectful customer service experience is crucial, and unfortunately, this encounter fell short of expectations. I hope that this feedback can contribute to improving the overall service quality at this postal office.
