Pet Care

Elk Grove Pet Clinic
615 Meacham Rd, Elk Grove VillageEternal gratitude for more time with my dog isn't even close to enough. You see, he saved me. Brought joy to my world!
I've been bringing my little guy to Dr.'s Stram & Leo since I adopted him at around 9 months old. They have always been so good with him & to him. They take their time answering every question I have. They also explain every suggestion, sometimes twice! They always go above & beyond!
From Tricia in surgery to the wonderful care from Sam & Olivia - He ADORES his Olivia. Heather beautifully grooms him, them Kim and Sabrina take care of us up front. I love being there with them, like a family. So much love.
We just had our first serious issue in 12 years. He had a cystotomy to remove a bladder stone. ( They found it while BEING CAUTIOUS BEFORE ANESTHESIA for a teeth cleaning session ). They kept in close contact with me throughout the day. When I picked him up I thoroughly understood everything I needed to do. They checked on us every day for the next 4 days! He was doing amazing the very next day! Dr. Leo is an amazing surgeon who, like I said, has amazing people around him.
I'm a really anxious, worrisome person. I'm not the "ideal" pet owner a vet would want to deal with. They put all of my stuff aside & think of my baby. I'm really grateful for every one of the people at Elk Grove Pet Clinic.
I hear there are vets that are owned by corporations. Why take the chance of losing the love & individual care my dog gets here?
***Just ask yourself if you feel like your vet cares about your pet as if it were their own***

Ephraim, Glenn DVM
851 Oakton St, Elk Grove VillageToday was Bear's first visit at Oakton Animal Hospital. It's official!!! This is now his official vet. Previously went to big chain vets and I was really not satisfied but had very few choices. We moved to EGV and Bear will go to them will all his needs. Everyone was nice and caring. They did not seemed annoyed that we were there, they looked like the staff wanted to be there. They answered all my questions and concerns with the utmost care for Bear. They were truthful on what Bear needed and gave me a proper itemized procedures that needed to be done for surgery. Estimates was clear and concise. Explained the step by step procedure of what will happen next. If you're looking for a new vet, please come to Oakton Animal Hospital!

Oakton Animal Hospital
851 Oakton St, Elk Grove VillageOakton Animal has taken great care of our dog for the past 4 years. They have always been very patient with how reactive and anxious she can be. Both the doctors and the techs are friendly and helpful. We are unfortunately moving out of the area and will miss everyone at this practice!

Elk Grove Veterinary Specialty & Emergency
1050 Bonaventure Dr, Elk Grove VillageMy 13 year old dog was experiencing the worst symptoms of late stage heart failure. It’s never easy to come to terms with the end of life for any pet. We came quite early on a Sunday morning because of his inability to breathe well and coughing up significant amounts of blood. The team was so beyond compassionate during the most difficult time for me and my family. They made us and Teddy as comfortable as possible for the last moments of his life. I cannot thank the staff enough for their above and beyond care for us. We even got a sympathy card in the mail. Thank you for being so kind. It means a lot and Teddy thanks you from heaven.

Mikerphone Brewing
121 Garlisch Dr, Elk Grove VillageCame here the first day I got to Chicago and went back a few more times during my trip.
The brewery has a really nice open space, tons of sun and a dope vinyl wall behind the main bar. The patio is very spacious. I went back on a day when a band was playing and it was buzzin.
They have another bar area that has pin ball tables and extra seating. The decor and color is vibrant.
There were a few rotating food trucks the days I was there as well. But the brewery does offer a few bites. I did get the Bavarian soft pretzel (it's large) with the warm queso ?
I drank a different assortment of beers including a frozen slushy! My favorite drink to start was the Spicy Rickleada. More please! Hit all the taste notes I wanted. The IPA's are crushable and had to end it with stouts to finish. I won't turn down a Bean Spirit!
All the Beertenders are friendly. Vee was my favorite, she knows beer.
