Convenient location but I forgot that this was one of the Not again hotel and I made a mistake of booking it after few years. Even worse than before, guys checking in with messed up hair, wearing a most wrinkle shirt that one can find and had no greetings. Second guy said he just got out of the bed!
Never again and wish IHG had in the app a space that shows properties one did not like before so that we don’t book it again.
Rooms: Rooms are so bad with bed sheet having a hole, dirty desk, bathroom tub area is like don’t touch me, look at the photos to see what I mean. There is a Keurig and an empty cup, no coffee, Tea or Sugar etc.

A stop over due to cancelled flight.
Rooms a bit dark. Bathroom door would not close. No plug socket to recharge mobile phone in room. Was pleasantly surprised to find the room had a fridge though.?

Terrible service. For breakfast only coffee and fruit juice are free. With 10 USD they give only one fruit and yoghurt without choice. A slice of toast, muffin. There is no restaurant. Recommended for one night only as it is close to the airport.

The hotel is pretty gross. We have stayed twice and both times the rooms were gross and there were a lot of little things that are broken or not clean. The breakfast is also not what you normally see at Holiday Inns with very few options. I have stayed at Holiday Inns before and never had any issue but it looks like this place is neglected and there isn't much maintenance done. We did park and fly and the shuttle was nice but it only runs once an hour so if you miss it you have to wait a full hour for the next one.

Very bad experience at this hotel and with IHG. The worst hotel experience. The hotel shuttle failed to pick me up I was left at the airport for hours. No one ever showed up after being told they’d arrive in 10-15 minutes multiple times. I used a ride share to get to the hotel and the hotel refused to reimburse me for the ride after their failure and refusal to pick me up. The front desk was unapologetic and lacked basic customer service. The entire hotel lobby, hallways and room are completely outdated and very run down, stains all over the carpet, wallpaper peeling, mold on the walls and around the bathtub. It was so disgusting I didn’t even stay for the night and booked at another hotel which was ten times better and cheaper. I contacted the hotel manager and one week later have yet to receive a response from them. I contacted IHG who also did nothing to fix the issue. Stay away from Holiday Inn, IHG, and Ava's Hospitality Group. They treat guests like garbage and do nothing to fix their errors. Save your money and spend it elsewhere.
Rooms: Dirty, moldy, wallpaper peeling, disgusting

The room reeked of cigarettes thank god I had an air freshener it barely did anything not even 5 minutes there I killed a roach in the bathroom, the microwave didn’t have the glass plate . At 8:30 am the house keepers were so loud yelling like if they were at their houses I had to call the front desk cause they wouldn’t shut up never again am I staying there.

We stayed at Elk Grove as this is where the airlines placed us. Unfortunately, the room had an AC that was so loud that we could hardly sleep. There were holes in the wall where the hair dryer should have been & the chairs and sofas in the lobby were filthy. We got to our room at 1 am and had to be up at 4 am to catch the shuttle back to the airport for our flight. When I told the gentleman at the desk about the issues in our room, his immediate response was, "you should have told us and we would have relocated you". Well at 1 am after I took a shower and laid down, that was the last thing I wanted to do was repack and head to another room. My thought was, if you maintained the hotel correctly, YOU SHOULD HAVE KNOWN, your had mechanical issues with your AC...YOU SHOULD HAVE KNOWN that there was NO hair dryer and that the wholes in the wall should have been your first clue. I don't think I have ever given a 1 or poor rating in my life but this hotel is horrible!

Bought 3 rooms. Was told the pool was heated but it was ice cold. We payed for non smoking room one of the rooms smell like cigarette smoke. Had to go ask for a new room. The other room bathroom door did not shut at all. All of the shower curtains are ripped and sewed back together, stuff all over the walls. The ice machines are broken. We payed extra for hot buffet breakfast and they just gave us cereal and toast with no toaster, and we all had to share the milk. Told front desk and he did not care at all. The elevator was broken when we used it the door opened up. One room had used bodies soap and shampoo other room had no soap at all. I would never say here again. Been trying call the gentle manager, but he’s never in.

Black mold in bathroom and on ceiling. No pillows available for the pullout couch. People smoking in the rooms to the point that you can see smoke coming out from the room. Every hall, room, and elevator smells terrible. The staff is very nice but that's the only good thing I have to say about this place.
Rooms: Pretty clean but has mold

10- 15 min away from Air Port but they have free shuttle so that's very nice. Simple and clean room. They should improve on breakfast, it was very minimal at the price point

This is legit the worst Holiday Inn I’ve ever stayed at. I travel a lot for work and almost exclusively stay at IHG properties and this one is truly terrible. There’s plenty of other hotels you can stay at that are much better

The hotel needs a total renovation, all areas are slightly run down, fitness room without air conditioning - no towels - dirty and old equipment, the only good thing is the location of the hotel near ORD airport and the friendly staff, otherwise unfortunately not recommended
Rooms: Bad smell in the hallways and in the room, musty, air conditioning very loud so I had to turn it off at night

Staff is very nice and accommodating, very dirty carpet in the hallways, be careful entering the elevators there is a large and unnoticeable trip hazard. Please save your money and don't purchase the breakfast with your room, breakfast consisted of cold bagel, bread, a muffin and 2 types of plain looking cereal, probably the most pitiful selection of any IHG property I have visited, oh and skip the restaurant attached, it's more of a dive bar. Overall no where near acceptable on many counts for an IHG property.

This is a 2 star hotel. Very disappointed in the quality, which was not expected from a holiday inn at $200.
Drug user outside the side entrance.
The lobby is very clean, the rooms were a crime scene.
Close to the airport.

I flew in for a business trip and this was the suggested hotel. Wasn’t the greatest room it was old and outdated. Fairly clean but by no means up to my usual standard. The breakfast was an up charge to get cereal or a bagel….no thank you. The location was perfect for where I had to be only a block away. The service from the front desk was top notch. I booked a shuttle to the airport and that worked out well. I’m 50-50 if I’d comeback to this location needs a bit of work.
