The doctor didn’t seem to have knowledge in how to treat my injury. He wasn’t very professional and blamed my injury to a possible old fracture or arthritis

I had to come to Concentra for various vaccines and screenings before I started a new job. They made sure I had a quick and efficient visit.

I went to Concentra to give a urine sample for my upcoming employment. I completed the form they sent me via text before entering. When I checked in they sent me another form to complete-basic information about my history. I gave 3/5 stars because whilst the place was clean, the women at the front desk were so kind and helpful, and it was a nice experience. However, the form indicated I was intended to have a full physical and a tuberculosis skin test, instead of my rapid drug screen. I waited as people who came in after me and had more extensive things being taken care of, meanwhile I'm sitting there waiting for a simple test requiring zero assistance outside of being handed the cup and handing it back. I was there for an hour and a half for a two minute test. Days later I learn that the results were misplaced and the paperwork was stalled for an unspecified reason. It has been days and my new employer cannot clear me to begin working until they recieve the results, which were negative. I've lost precious time and money due to the faulty program they use for their patient information. I hope it was simply a fluke, but that's my experience. Good job ladies at the front. I saw and heard how thorough you two are. 10/10 for them!

This company is really a joke. I called to ask what time was the cutoff for blood work. They told me system was down but as long as I got here by 2:30 I could get it done. I’m 30 minutes into my wait after filling out paperwork and I get called, the tech (cus god knows he wasn’t a doctor) tells me the system is down so that there is nothing he can do. Meaning my time was wasted. He proceeded to inform me that he was overwhelmed and he sure looked it but that was not my problem. I needed important, time sensitive blood work done and he turned me away like it wasn’t his JOB.

Concentra elk grove is an awesome facility, convenient location, clean, front desk staff as well as staff in back working with doctors friendly, patient & well organized, Dr. Weaver is always a pleasure to deal with, very thorough exam, answers questions, doesn't leave you feeling like their just pushing ppl thru for the $$. Keep in mind this is a busy location located in a manufacturing/warehousing district so may be a wait, personally 90mins total time from checkin to out the door not bad for an early Monday morning. Highly recommended over other concentra locations in the area.

Went here for a pre-employment drug test. While in the back in an open public area with patients and staff walking by, my personal information including social security number were put up on a computer screen. I was asked to verify that the information was correct but felt extremely uncomfortable with how visible it was not only to staff but to anyone walking by. Once finished with the test, I was handed a confirmation paper receipt with all personal information visible, once again this included my social security number. I am shocked at how cavalier this clinic is about patient’s personal information as this process violates many HIPAA regulations. Improvement needs to be made on the methods of verification at this clinic. Identity theft is running rampant everywhere and it’s quite unnerving how easy it would be for either a staff member or anyone walking around the clinic to steal someone’s information. Gave it 3 stars instead of 1 because the front desk staff was friendly.

Easy to use, very competent staff..the software the docs are using is spotty, and they know it. Work with them, and you won't regret it.

I would recommend Concentra for your testing needs. The whole staff took care of me with kindness, patience and they had a great system of getting you checked in and out. The doctor on staff was very knowledgeable and personable. I felt comfortable and at ease. My overall experience was a positive one.

Friendly and Professional. Clean environment and didn't have to wait long for a doctor. Doctor took care to listen before examination. Results from X-ray were very quick. Glad to know I have an amazing urgent care so close to work!

Too bad I have to leave a star. They don’t deserve one at all!!!! They are rude and racist. My mom fell at work. Hurt her ankle, arm, back, and hit her head as she fell and unfortunately was taken to this place. My dad contacted me and asked to meet him there to translate because he was unable to explain to the assistant how the accident happened because no one was able to translate. So I decided to go there to translate. Once there I texted my dad to let him know I was in the lobby. Once there I told the receptionist I was there to translate and she said that everyone spoke Spanish back there. So I texted my dad to let him know they weren’t letting me in. He told the assistant that I was waiting in the lobby and that I could translate and the assistant told my dad to leave the room immediately that he wasn’t even supposed to be there. That “only the patient” could be there. So they took him out of the room. We waited in the lobby for over an hour. (While waiting in the lobby we heard the staff speaking in Spanish) and I made a comment to my dad “I thought no one spoke Spanish” Then one of the receptionists said that my mom was taken to physical therapy and that it would be another 20 min (which it turned out to be another hour) Me and my dad were surprised because we literally thought my mom broke her ankle because from what my dad said my mom was unable to put pressure on her foot. Finally after an a hour and a half my mom came out and was very disappointed. She said the service was horrible. She said they made her walk from the exam room to the X-ray room. They didn’t even offer a wheel chair. Also my mom has high blood pressure and kept telling the doctor about it and when they took her BP obviously was high and kept reading over 200. The assistant kept telling the doctor it was reading high but the doctor told her that the machines were “Broken” my mom she kept complaining of a headache and he kept ignoring it. Didn’t even bother addressing it. Her discharge paper work said she could “go back and finish her shift” with an injured ankle, and a huge Bruce on her arm. This places is horrible my mom was unable to understand everything they told her. And I guess this isn’t the first time they treat people like this. The (male) doctor is racist and rude. Please avoid going to this clinic.

Horrible service! They don't deserve a star at all! I am also in the medical field and i NEVER treat my patients like this. My mom was there for a workmans comp case because she fell at work. she hurt her ankle (badly), arm and hit her head as she fell. My dad was there before me. he called me and asked to be there to translate bc nobody was able to translate for them. Once i got there they didn't allow me in there and said that all the staff "spoke" Spanish. I texted my dad letting him know i was in the lobby, he told the assistant if we could switch since i would be able to translate better. The assistant right away said no and asked my dad to leave the room immediately. We waited in the lobby for over an hour just to let us know that my mom was sent to physical therapy. My dad and i were surprised because she was unable to put pressure on her foot and made her do PT. After another hour and a half waiting. My mom finally came out and in pain and very disappointed. she said she barely understood anything because no one was able to translate for her. (mind you, me and my dad were sitting in the lobby for more than 2 hours and all the staff that was up front were speaking in Spanish). 1- She said they made her walk from the exam room to the X-ray room knowing she was unable to put any pressure on her foot, they didn't even bother to offer a wheel chair. 2- Once in the room with the doctor my mom (with her super broken English) told him she had high BP asked the assistant to take her vitals which they were reading super high because of the pain she was in (BP over 200) the assistant mentioned it to the doctor and took it again 3 more times, she let the doctor know it kept reading over 200, all he said was that the "machine was broken" my mom kept telling him about her headache, he completely ignored it. Discharged her, sent her back to work (complete her shift) as stated on the discharge paper work with a swollen ankle, and bruised arm. Super disappointed about this place. Honestly don't understand how your own people can be rude AF. I totally agree with the other review from Rachel H. This is a sad excuse for healthcare and I'm not sure how anyone here can call themselves a "'medical professional"

They lost my drug screen results, creating inconvenience and risk for me. I don’t think my start date will be affected, but only because I’m scurrying to get it done a second time and my employer is also working with me, but of course I’m quite unhappy about this.
