There is elk in this park and we saw one! The trails were nicely paved and the park itself was beautiful. We didn’t quite get to see it all but we were rewarded with an elk sighting. Do not feed the elk? The bathrooms here were not super clean so make sure you don’t need to go to the bathroom during your time here.

I drove past and did a double take because I thought I was losing my mind seeing elk in Chicago! What a cool herd establishment!
